We are very happy to hear you and your family had a wonderful stay with us. We look forward to your return and the sounds of your kids playing on Moonstone Beach. Make sure you ask for our FogCatcher Inn sand buckets for the kids to use while exploring the beach for shells and moonstones. James Davison General Manager FogCatcher...

We arrived in time to join the small throng of people, many with glasses in hand, lined up just across from the hotel to watch/celebrate the sunset over the ocean. So picturesque. Then we had a delicious and memorable meal at the Sea Chest, a short beach promenade walk from the hotel. When we returned to the hotel, we helped...

The sunsets here are a definite event at the FogCatcher Inn. We have 5 benches facing the water and every evening guests are enjoying the best show by mother nature with a glass of wine in their hands. I am happy that you got to experience it as well. And I am happy to hear you got to have wonderful...

We stopped at the Fogcatcher Inn for one night on our roadtrip from LA to SF. When we arrived it was dark and raining, so it wasn't until the next morning we really could see how beautiful the location was. We had dinner at the nearby Moonstone Bar & Grill, which was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The...

Thank you for your wonderful review. I am happy to hear you got to experience all the beauty of Moonstone Beach. There is no other beach like it on the Central Coast. Next time you are here you will have to try the Fish Tacos at Moonstone Beach Bar and Grill, they are my favorite dish there. We look forward...

Cambria is beautiful and the location of this hotel is its best feature. It is on the road next to the shore, on a strip with numerous other small hotels. There is absolute and total quiet at night. Most wings of the hotel have two stories, with the lower story slightly below ground level. Our room smelled musty. The cleanliness...

We stayed here on Feb. 10, 2014. Everything was perfect - our room had a fireplace and vaulted ceilings, and we could hear the ocean waves through the window. Complimentary breakfast was tasty, and the hot tub was great. I want to come back to this property when we have more time to stay and enjoy it.

This was our second stay at the Fog Catcher Inn, and we will return again. Reception staff--friendly, ocean view room top notch, king size bed comfortable. Moonstone Beach Dr. is a great place to walk and meet people--both local and travelers. We stayed here and spent one day just lounging in our room, walking on the beach, sitting in the...

With so many hotels/B&Bs to chose from in the area it can be a bit of a crap shoot. Well, luck was definitely on our side with our choice of the FogCatcher Inn. Great room, great value, great staff, great location, great breakfast...all around great. We will definitely return. Highly recommended!
