The location is sensational. We loved our room as well as the pool and hot tub. The staff was great and the breakfast was fantastic (definitely have the Belgian waffles!). We came as a family but can't wait to return as a couple... what a romantic lovely place. Anyone who doesn't like FogCatcher has their head where the sun don't...

I was thrilled to get a room for a Thursday night at under $300 at the tail end of July, with a free Hampton Inn style breakfast (ate outside--something you can't do in July in Las Vegas). Although booking 6 weeks in advance, everything was sold out or would not book just one night--for example, the Hampton Inn inland in...

Cute cozy hotel. Clean & quaint. Nice staff at front desk. Have decent size pool and large hot tub. DIreclly across the street from long boardwalk on the beach. Take a morning walk along the beach and see seals and seastars (starfish) right in front of you. Perfect for a day or two. We left the window open to listen...

First, this is an older though updated motor hotel, as are most of the hotels on Moonstone beach. This means cars park in front of your room window and there's no A/C - so your windows are open and you hear a lot of noise. Not unique to this place, but notable if you're looking for a relaxing getaway. This...

How this hotel gets the rating on trip advisor is beyond me. Miserable staff miserable room terrible breakfast. View out he front was my car and out the back was a fence. Where was the garden view? The photo shown for this hotel is very misleading as very few rooms can even see the sea. Stay away go somewhere else....

Our family has enjoyed this wonderful FogCatcher Inn for the past 20 years. The location, the staff, and the fantastic rooms keep us coming back. I forgot to mention the breakfast which comes with the above. Web are not talking a simple continental breakfast but a full spread of eggs, sausage, fried potatoes to die for, plus cereals dry and...

My new husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in February during our honeymoon roadtrip from San Francisco to LA. We arrived around 8pm, tired and hungry. The lady at reception was very helpful and immediately handed me a glass of champagne (said I looked like I could do with it!) She showed us a map of Cambria and...

Stayed for one night on my way down from San Franciso to LA and it was a real treat. The location is perfect, very scenic, the hotel it self is very cosy and the grounds are kept very well. The location could not be better for moonstone beach just literally a 30 second walk away. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was good with two large beds and (very) tall ceilings, however we personally found the beds to be uncomfortable. We enjoyed the self serve breakfast as there is a good variety of food to choose...

We really enjoyed the fogcatchers inn. The location was lovely for a walk along the beach and although out of town was within walking distance of the moonstone grill; which was great.
