Totally the sort of people I'd love to have at home. Banksy books on the coffee table, Adbusters, Malcolm Gladwell, oatmeal with apples and raisins, organic garden. Yet capable of running a business really dang professionally. Met someone staying there who hails from my hometown, too. Lovely. Reminder to the owners of the place: send me pictures of me with...

Bridge Street Inn is a little hostel in the style of an old english cottage. I especially enjoyed the evenings when guests and locals alike meet around the table and share their drinks and stories. If you're looking for something special, this is it.

Coming to this hostel feels like going to Grandma's house when you were a kid - in the best possible way. Coffee, tea, sourdough toast, and oatmeal a with raisins are waiting for you when you wake up. There are so many beautiful things to do in this area. Cambria is a sweet little town. I love Moonstone Beach. Yesterday...

Stayed here for two nights with some friends. The staff was very welcoming and we really enjoyed connecting with the other guests as well. That's what I love about staying in a hostel.... You become part of a family or "community", even if just for a brief time. The rooms are modest, but clean. Guests must leave during the day,...

We enjoyed our experience at this hostel, which honestly felt more like a weekend away at someone's grandmother's house. The house is 115 years old and in some ways it shows, but if you're not expecting everything to be bright, new, and shiny, it's a very comfortable place. We found a few spiders in our room, but other than that,...

We came across this gem thanks to our lonely planet guide. I have to say that the guide paid for itself with this recommendation alone! The hostel is centrally located in Cambria, Jen was very accommodating and friendly and the rooms are clean, cozy and kooky. Despite hearing that the walls were paper thin, and despite having a family with...

Romantic & silent Hostel with private rooms. The hostel offers every kind of amenities: full stuffed kitchen, BBQ, Sunchairs, outdoor seating. This hostel is situated in an old church and you can still feel the spirit in it. It is definitely different from the standard hostels and therefore very charming. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and the personal is...

Don't expect typical hostel stuff but a nice old and charming house in a convenient spot along Route 101/1. The town is a bit sleepy but nice with deers in front of your car lights. The place is clean and they treat you very informal and personal. It is a social place and organized. But, you need to know they...

What a great place this is. The staff is all very friendly. I spoke with Jan, Todd, Brandon and Lorelei. They made me feel very comfortable. If you are looking for pristine, this is not your place. If you would think it would be neat to see an old VW bus in the parking lot, this is it. They have...

“I love the guest room as it has high ceilings and high windows and allows natural light to come into the room to get the most of the sunshine hours. It is like staying in a loft. I love the colour of the room as it is a golden and we had our own private wash room which was a bonus. The room has its own private entrance so that you can come and go as you please and it is separate from the rest of the building so it is a little quieter.”
