We stayed at the Sea Otter Inn after touring the Hearst Castle. What a cute little place it is! We loved the gas fireplace in our room along with the decor. I only wish we would have had more than one night here. Across the street was the ocean and a walking path that we strolled along for a short...

We spent one night here and it was terrific - I would love to come back in summer time! The room was spacious and clean and I loved that it had a fireplace and a patio. The breakfast was great, and I loved that it was delivered in a little basket!! This is a great place to stay, and I...

What timing ! In between storms ! Very nice place to be , love the fireplace , the room was very comfortable . We''ve always loved how close the beach is, morning walks, searching for moonstones. As for the hotel - very nice and quiet, welcoming!

We come here yearly with our dog. Not many hotels in Cambria allow dogs. They even gave our dog some doggy treats at breakfast. New fire pits and seating areas were beautiful. Used the jacuzzi which was nice and hot! (Many hotels don't heat the jacuzzi enough but their jacuzzi was perfect). Great location on moonstone beach, was quiet and...

I enjoyed the smallness of this inn and the little special things they do. Small continental breakfast in a basket was nice - sure it's not waffles and sausage, but it's perfectly fine to get you kick started. The seating area with the gas fire, pillows and blankets was lovely - especially at sunset! I wouldn't hesitate to book here...

Our stay there was great. We had an oceanview room with nice views and loved hearing the waves crashing at night. The breakfast that was delivered to the room was a nice touch. The value for the price was good.

For a Hotel at this cost, the bed was HORRIFIC. Hard and lumpy. Rather sleep on the beach than this hotel. Heater (the fireplace) was loud and made annoying sounds all night. We did not request a different room so maybe it was an anomaly. Room 107. All other services were fine, friendly staff, room was clean and great location.

This was an old style motel that was upgraded nicely to a small boutique place. There are garden areas, some random chairs to watch the ocean and 2 sitting areas around gas fire pits outside. Many people enjoy the sunset while tasting the day’s purchases from the plethora of winery’s nearby. There are a A.A busting number of wineries within...

From the outside it looked like a glorified motel but was surprisingly cozy inside with good amenities including a gas fireplace which was very welcome since it was cold and raining. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and we would definitely return.
