I'm aware of the fact that this is an Inn/motel in a small town, not a high-profile hotel or anything, but concidering its among the most expensive ones in town, I was suprised by quite a few things. when arriving in Cambria, I had a slight fever and was greeted by a room temperature of 54°F. the AC/heating was turned...

My husband and I stayed at the Burton Inn for three nights leaving New Years day (2008). The Inn is at an excellent location two blocks off Main Street in the East Village. Within walking distance are excellent restaurants, art studios and quaint gift shops. The rooms (and bathrooms) at the Burton Inn are HUGE!! We could have comfortably slept...

This small and quaint Inn was a wonderful find on the internet, the price was unbelievable for the service and friendliness we received. Terry & James made us feel very welcome from the moment we set foot inside the building and when we received an complimentary upgrade, it was fantastic, the rooms were to die for and the included breakfast...

Good location and large two (2) room suite. The breakfast is continental and not the homemade B&B breakfast I expected. The mattress in room twenty (20) is well past its replacement date. I enjoyed the evening wine and conversation.

We traveled along the California coast and wanted to stay somewhere near Hearst Castle and found the Burton Inn. It was a nice hotel in a decent part of town with four nearby restaurants and a few galleries. Our room was #19, and it was simply huge. There was a king bed in the main area, and we then found...

WONDERFUL place to stay! Location is great, rooms are very nice and comfortable, breakfast is excellent (especially the granola!) Lovely wine and cheese social hour - we had a great time talking to a fun and interesting person only to discover she was the owner. I can't say enough good things about this place and will certainly stay there everytime...

Location, Location, Location!! What a great place to stay! My wife and myself enjoyed everything about the Burton Inn. The location is great you can walk anywhere in town! Good eating establishments across the street. The owner Jim was with us at the evening wine and cheese in the Library and he was very welcoming to all the guests. Anette...

The Burton Inn website is misleading; this is not a "bed and breakfast." However, it is a totally comfortable inn with plenty of charm and ambience you wouldn't find at the typical motel. The bathroom in our suite (#21) was not luxurious as described, but overall all this is a great place and I have no complaints. From the Continental...

My husband and I stayed at the Burton Inn on our way home from San Francisco and absolutely loved it. We had stayed at this Inn 20 years ago and decided to 'Just check" and see if it was still there. To our delight, we found that it was still open, under a different management and had been upgraded to...

This is truly a gem of an hotel, situated on a quiet street with an excellent restaurant (Robins) across the road. We had a suite which comprised of large lounge area with sofa and armchair, coffee table, dinning table with 4 chairs, large TV cabinet containing TV and DVD player, fridge, microwave and the usual kettle etc. The bedroom section...
