Upon entering the room for the first time, we were pleasantly surprised by the large room. We had a room with a balcony and beautiful view of the ocean. The weather was gorgeous! The breakfast wasn't much (rolls, dried cereal, coffee, juice, etc.) which was somewhat disappointing considering the price for the room. Altogether, Moonstone Landing is VERY nice, the...

Wife, 31 yr old daughter and myself stayed 2 night during the latter part of February. This place is just across the street from the beach. You could hear the waves at night from our partial ocean view room. Plenty of room for us to stretch out and relax. Large bathroom. Right next door to a great restaurant. The artsy...

My husband and I recently spent 3 nights at Moonstone Landing. We have stayed here several times over the past 10 years. The view from the front units is spectacular. The easy access to the board walk is inviting any time of day. Over the years, as noted in other reviews, the service at Moonstone Landing has deteriorated. The continental...

Had a wonderful stay at Moonstone Landing. The property is designed so that most (perhaps all, not sure) rooms have a view of the ocean. Absolutely stunning. The continental breakfast was filling. Having a gas log fireplace was very nice. Would definitely stay there again.

Traveling down the coast with two teens and wanted to stay overlooking the ocean. This is one of the few properties we found with a beach view. Moonstone Landing has a luxury feel with the great fireplace and beautiful ocean view. Room was ground floor with a patio...very nice and very clean. Breakfast was standard hotel continental, but no complaints....

Great location, wonderful staff right on the beach. Loved the easy access to beach trail. Fun bar and grill right next door. Low stress and easy to relax. Will definitely stay here the next time we are up in Cambria.

Just checked in and just in time to relax before finding dinner and early bedtime. Driving up from LA and faced with having to spend one more night away from home since I AirBnb'd my own place. This place is perfect and just what we needed. Great rate and large fireplace room with a peak of the ocean was lovely....

We have been staying in this hotel for at least 11 years or even more. I always felt we were lucky to accidentally find such a perfect place in Cambria from our first try. I even wrote a review almost 7 years ago about how perfect this place was! They always had the friendliest staff, the cleanest rooms, the cutest...

Dear Nadia_Pleasanton, We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed with your most recent stay. Our staff tried to explain the reason behind the changes you mention in your review. We will reiterate again for your reference. Staff - You have been coming here for so many years and are used to having the same staff check you in. We understand...

Cute town! The beach is across the street and the place was quiet. Ease in check in and parking. My only recommendation is a rug of some sort at the entry to the room due to rain for three days. Room was large. Bed was comfy. Staff was helpful. If you're looking for excitement, this town is not it. Simple...

The room was cold as the fireplace didn't put out much heat. The furniture was oddly placed, not exactly a study in feng shui. A large rug might make it cozier. When remodelling, I would put a picture window between the bathroom and the bedroom (think Shutters at Santa Monica). The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the room...
