We have been 3 times now, and we always plan out stay on the Tuesday nights that Louis Ortega is in the fireside lounge. Hanging out with the harbor seals down on the cliffs is a must, and the Hearst Ranch wine tasting is a must. If you want to just relax and kick back, stroll the grounds, the gardens...

This was a wedding venue. The accommodations and staff were wonderful. The food was excellent. The grounds at the Cambria Pine Lodge were spectacular, very quaint and exotic. The wedding held was probably around 150 and it felt very intimate and secluded in the gardens. Our room was a king sized suite and was well beyond our expectations. Overall the...

We reserved a deluxe suite and paid 3x what we would normally pay for a hotel stay. The room was worth the money, but we would have preferred to stay for more than one night, but we couldn't afford that price for a longer stay.

At risk of this place not being available the next time. We love this place. It is even better still since they have been upgrading the rooms. The wineries close by are exceptional. The breakfast is great. The entertainment nightly in the bar is good. The beach boardwalk is beautiful. The gardens are relaxing and secluded.

I knew of the lodge but had never been there, I personally rate this a 5 star. The facilities are charming, not stark and modern. Beds were comfortable, view was fabulous, gardens were a calm and beautiful respite from the everyday roar.

The surrounding atmosphere lends itself to a relaxing mood. Breakfast is hot and complete. Dinner is outstanding. Plants abound. Shops and restaurants quaint and exciting. Ocean is close and inviting. Many walking paths. Been there many times. Peter

The location is great, the breakfast is also great, but the rooms are average & need to be updated, not the value I expected for the price we paid, would I stay there again? Maybe, just for scenery, it is very serene & peaceful!

We're happy that you enjoyed our beautiful location and your complimentary full hot breakfast buffet. As for the "average" rooms, some of our older accommodations are being updated and should be more to your liking. We hope you will join us again soon.

It was a very pleasant and relaxing experience. Easy access to beaches and towns. The staff was very friendly and were very polite. The grounds are still under construction and needed more lighting (especially) back to the rooms on the pathway.
