Check in took far too long, computer wouldn’t accept my AAA data. Room was 62 degrees, took an hour to warm it to 71. Carpet looks clean but is very worn. Had to have desk clerk come to room to show us the remote “trick”...More
By far the most expensive roach motel around! Drug users in one room, prostitution in the next oh and underage drinkers puking outside your door at 2 am and a window that didn’t want to close. Room was OUTDATED, and the hotel desk and maid...More

The distance from hotel to center of Placerville is 11 miles according to mapquest. However Placerville is a larger town. My last trip, I felt I was five miles away as it took me 10 minutes or less with traffic lights in between to get to the hotel from the old courthouse in Placerville near Diamon Springs. Taking Hwy 50 which is the main drag, it was not a long trip.
Side note: there is a grocery, shopping and a Dollar Tree practically across the street from this hotel so its not a bad location for convenience sake.

This is a two story motel with all rooms entered from the outside. I can't answer about the handicapped rooms for sure, but I have to think they would have them on the first floor. Best bet is to call the hotel and ask.
