Detailed Reviews
After a long day of driving we just needed a place to crash for the night. The rooms are ok, nothing special. I didn't feel comfortable going barefoot on the carpet because it looks dirty. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and the sheets were soft, but had a large hole. Every time we washed our hands (room 229) the tap handle came right off... it's one screw guys, just fix it. Bottom line, we got a decent nights sleep - but I feel that $145/night is a bit high for this property.

Super run down. A few people asked me for meth. Also no breakfast, they lie.
Pool is also closed. Honestly this place is just a run down trap house vibe all the way through. Super is super hard to use, rooms all smell like smoke. It’s amazing they get off lowing about everything online until you get here.
There are other places that are actually nice for the same price, stay somewhere else.

Every Jan 1 go to a party in Cameron Park Air park. Great fun Great people. Stay one night at Quality Inn Suites. Always get a clean room. Good bed an front desk very helpful an polite. We always arrive early an they have always got us in a room in advance. Price is very reasonable. In fact believe has not change in years. Saying that they have cut back on there free breakfast. Use to be very good. Now fresh coffee ,pastries, fruit . Not so many TV channels. But again i do not believe there prices have changed in years. So i except an understand those two things. Summary Hilton it is not!! But great price great room we will see you next year .

The first room, room 102, had possibly blood in the sink and the toilet had not been cleaned. Plus a broken spoon with a red material on it was still on the sink counter. We switched to room 115 only to find the door unsecured. This room too was dirty. The carpet was stained, the wall had a patch that did not match the paint. The window sill in the bathroom had coffee stains. The second bed had stained sheets so we could not use that bed. The tub did not drain so my wife took her shower in my dirty water. Neither the tub or sink had a plunger to allow either to fill. We were supposed to have four pillows per bed but one was missing so we had to inform management so we would not be charged. On a positive note, the front desk folks were nice.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Everything in the area was sold out, and we were "lucky" enough to snag the last room available here. The room was a king bed with kitchen, bath, and balcony. Pictures on their website are deceiving. Looks nothing like the pictures. This place is dirty. Carpet was stained and dirty, bed was stained and had hair, sink had hair, toilet was dirty, drapes were dirty with holes, old furniture, wall paint missing, base boards coming off the wall, walls were dirty, very little light, and we were greeted in the morning by some cockroaches. Very dark and depressing. Save your money and go anywhere else but here.

Stayed Aug 23/24 2024. Should be zero stars. Old, shabby, rugs and furniture old and unclean. Room wasn’t cleaned overnight. Horribly loud; people running up and down the stairs and balcony throughout both nights we stayed. Appears as though people are living at this hotel; their personal effects are kept outside the rooms including large boxes, food, and trash. Grounds are filled with dead grass and dead plants. “Breakfast” was apples, pop tarts, and brownie bites. All of this for $150/night. Before having to pay $20 extra for my dog who was cleaner than the hotel. Was no better than a roadside motel that you wouldn’t pay more than $20/night for.

This hotel was the worst place to stay at. we will never stay at a quality inn again. The room was gross, the bathroom was not cleaned, front desk was not helpful, the security latch on the door was broken, and no breakfast. When traveling with kids we book places with breakfast for easier mornings. The carpet was wet and so dirty looking. We arrived late or would of just slept in the car.

Don't stay here it does not look like pictures. My room was so filthy and old with goodwill furniture. The only source of light was table lamps. No grab bar for shower. NO breakfast or pool use. Scary trailer parked in lot for ??? Dark walkways. Curtains did not fit. No security chain. Still cost an overpriced $100. I wish I had read the reviews. Be safe stay away. Paper thin walls could hear all coming and going.

Pro - within walking distance to fast food. They have one parking space available for EVs. Staff is polite. The internet seems to work well.
Cons - not everyone is practicing social distancing and wearing masks. The walls seem to be very thin. I can hear the cars and trucks throughout the night.
Due to COVID no breakfast is available for part of our reservations.

The room was ok (kind of dated), but the baseboards were dusty.
You could hear people outside walking around and talking most of the night. It really felt unsafe.
Other reviews talk about the drug dealing and homeless living here.
The pool and hottub are very dirty. The hottub was actually NASTY, it had alge growing in it and tons of dirt and debris.
EXTREMELY UNHEALTHY!!!

Paid 95 but it depends on demand for rooms.
The distance from hotel to center of Placerville is 11 miles according to mapquest. However Placerville is a larger town. My last trip, I felt I was five miles away as it took me 10 minutes or less with traffic lights in between to get to the hotel from the old courthouse in Placerville near Diamon Springs. Taking Hwy 50 which is the main drag, it was not a long trip.
Side note: there is a grocery, shopping and a Dollar Tree practically across the street from this hotel so its not a bad location for convenience sake.

Sunnyvale, California, United States7 contributions2 helpful votesDo you have handicapped rooms?
This is a two story motel with all rooms entered from the outside. I can't answer about the handicapped rooms for sure, but I have to think they would have them on the first floor. Best bet is to call the hotel and ask.
