We visited late March and had a fabulous 3 nights here. My 12 and 14 year old enjoyed every minute. The zip line and horseback riding tour was amazing- you just book when you arrive. They were very accommodating and had many options for tours when you check in. The pool was great and we enjoyed watching the monkeys play...

This is the second time my family and friends have visited this amazing spot. The kids loved the pool, the adults enjoyed the swim-up bar and everyone relaxed in the hot springs. The rooms were super quaint and clean with great views. On one ½ hour hike we were lucky enough to see toucans at the top of the trees...

The owners have created a paradise here. This is the perfect antidote to a hot week at the beach. The mountains are spindled. The air is cool and clear. We went as a family. I recommend room 505. The views and wildlife sightings are spectacular from there. The features in the room (shower and hot tub) and on the balcony...

Simple, relaxing room, very private and clean room. Great activities (ziplining, 4X4 tours, awesome spa) We loved the hot springs and the breakfast at restaurant was very good. The location is perfect too, right at the foothills of the volcano.

We made this our last stop in our travels from the Caribbean to the pacific and wouldn't have done it any other way. Borinquen was stunning. The cabin we stayed at was high on the hill and required much walking but it was worth the view which is why I selected it. We loved the horse ride to the falls...

Getting here is a long trip - but well worth it The place has hot spring, vulcanic mud, 12 zip lines, and horse back riding, and lots of fun for the family!! We ate at the restaurant and had a great meal! Staff is very nice.

While friends were sweltering on the west coast beaches of Costa Rica, we had a marvelous, fun and activity-filled stay in the mountains. The cottages are large, clean, modern and each have a lovely view. We particularly recommend the suites perched high above the resort (though it's a steep walk), the views are incredible. We hiked on our own daily...

We were in Costa Rica for a wedding and were told we had to zipline while there. Borinquen Resort was a great choice. We were a group of 18, traveling together by van from our accommodations in Coco Beach for the zip line adventure and lunch at the resort. The zip lining staff was very professional and safety-conscious but still...

Apparently March is fire season in the lowlands, so our first week spent at the beach wasn't great: smoke, fires, winds, heat. We escaped to the volcano and this resort for the last two nights of our trip. It was very nice, relaxing, cooler, quiet. It looks like something from Hawaii with manicured lawns and plants. The views from the...

I spent a weekend at Borinquen back in January with my girlfriend. We wanted to do a last and great trip before she went back to Europe. We decided to do it at Borinquen, and glad we did, my whole family took a day tour and it was fantastic! Because of my job I've taken severals tours, and Borinquen is...
