As avid hikers and lovers of nature, Borniquen met our expectation 100% and beyond! We stayed for 7 days. The ride to the hotel is a semi-off-roading experience...there are signs all the way to the hotel so just stay the course. There are rustic homes,...More

I was there a few months ago and we really enjoyed it. I did not find it dirt or horrible at all. The hot springs are the pools. The water needs to go through some pipes bc you cannot just go into the water directly. It is too hot and there is volcanic mud so you can only observe it from the path that they have in place. But the hotel has mud places next to the showers and then after you wash it off you go into the hot pools.
