Although the weather was rainy throughout our stay, we thoroughly enjoyed Monarch Cove. We stayed in one of the cottages, found it to be very comfortable. The bed was 4+ comfortable, the breakfasts were outstanding, brought right to the room. The location is great, right on the ocean, but within walking distance to the town, and the grounds of the...

We stayed in the Lilac Room, which has some amazing coastal views. Awesome, recommended stay. Very peaceful and serene. Will definitely stay again. The breakfast was great (delivered to our room each morning) Staff was friendly and great.

The first room that we reserved to stay in was the butterfly room. It was a beautiful room, but when the description says a tight bathroom it means tight. I am 6'5" and there was no way that I could use it. Luckily they did have another room available to stay in. All in all we had an awesome stay....

we stayed in two rooms, the Lilac Room and the Hideaway. Both were quite nice and in the main house. The Lilac room is on the corner and has a nice view of the water. The Hideaway is tucked around the back but has it's own private hot tub. It's a beautiful property and just a short walk into Capitola...

We had our wedding at the Monarch Cove Inn and really can't recommend it highly enough. The staff were all friendly, professional, and easy to work with (and if you're thinking of getting married there, you should absolutely hire their in-house day-of coordinator Krista Fontius, she was incredible!). We stayed in the Ocean Mist Suite, which had the most stunningly...

I'm so glad we discovered this little gem We had only one night there unfortunately. We decided to make the most of our stay in such a beautiful setting. So rather than eat out in one of the many restaurants in Capitola, we got pizza to go with a bottle of red and sat on the porch and enjoyed the...

We stayed at Monarch Cove Inn for two nights in late March and it was a wonderful experience. We booked the Rose Garden Suite and it proved to be very good indeed, with a nice bedroom, a living room with a lovely view and an old fashion but very well equipped kitchen. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast great....

We got a deal on Living Social for 2 nights, good up through March 31. Everything was lovely and peaceful and relaxing. We had a large Victorian room with a bay window looking out at Monterey Bay through the garden. Breakfast was large and delivered to your room at the time you chose. A nice bottile of wine was included...

This is 100-year old property within walking distance of Capitola attractions, shops, and restaurants (15 minutes). There are different ways of getting there if you have an issue with stairs. We stayed in the Butterfly Room. It is decorated in the Victorian style with a table for breakfast and a fireplace. It has fridge, coffee maker, refrigerator and a lovely...
