This hotel is in a great location, just steps from the beach and downtown. Very quaint looking, colorful rows of rooms. Just research it before you book. It is good if you want to surf, or have equipment to take to the beach. Most rooms have a full kitchen, and are spacious. I found the staff to be friendly and...

Thank you for your feedback on our hotel. We have refurbished some of our rooms and are going to be doing more in the future. I hope you'll give us a try again. I'm sorry about the noise you experienced. We do get a lot of families staying here and if you rent one of the less expensive ground floor...

We stayed there for a weekend, and just loved the location. Right on the seaside, nice view (if you have a room in the second floor), and close to the wharf. And, just one minute walk across the small bridge and you are in the middle of the very pleasant old town of Capitola. The furniture is rather dated, and...

This was my 3rd stay at the Capitola Venetian. We used to live in the village and love to come back, although I wish it was more often. The room we got was great. We didn't splurge for the balcony or a view but we weren't in our room much. Love the kitchenettes and the location is ahhhhh-mazing!

Very quaint accomodation right on the sand at beautiful Capitola. Beach & ocean views from our spacious room. Dated furnishings but clean and comfy. Comfy bed. Bathroom was tight but clean. Self-contained kitchen was reasonably well kitted out, and very clean. Parking on site.

The Capitola Venetian Hotel has a delightful old world appeal. It sits on the beach, near the entrance to the wharf and to great restaurants and shops on the esplanade. Walk the beach, watch surfers (lessons available), enjoy a variety of outdoor restaurants overlooking the ocean. The hotel staff are wonderful, our lodging clean and comfortable (3 of us with...

What is not to love, steps from the beach. Great family place, quiet spacious clean full kitchen is a plus. We had the one bedroom captains bed perfect for a family of four. We parked the car and walked everywhere for three days :)

This was a fun place to stay to enjoy Capitola. It was great to walk to the Capitola restaurants and beach. The unit was quite noisy with partying groups in the beachfront condos. The rooms are way overpriced IMHO, $350 ($375 w/tax) for a studio unit! They give you one ice tray and the freezer never was cold enough to...

We picked this hotel because it was just behind the colorful beach houses that are synonymous with Capitola, and it was not a bad choice with its authentic charm. We were in unit 126, and it was comfortable with a spacious front room. Not a cramped hotel room where you have to navigate around the bed. And lots of horizontal...

This hotel has some old fashioned charm but unfortunately the ventilation system is also antiquated -- no air conditioning or even a fan, so our room was unbearably stuffy without opening the window, which is where we ran into trouble. LOUD music from a nearby club till 4am made sleep impossible. Lumpy pillows didn't help.

I am very sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us. Regarding the loud music from the clubs we are about 100 yards or so from a row of restaurants and clubs. I'm sorry if the noise was a problem. I haven't heard of them staying open that late. By law they should have been closed for hours by 4...

A bit dated but comfortable and close to the beach and restaurants, which is why we stay there. Recommend the 2nd story rooms only, although 133 on the end of the 1st floor does have a partial view of the ocean (and everyone that walks by, 2' away from the window all day and evening). The kitchenettes are a nice...
