Room 217 over the kitchen was way too noisy. For the price of the room we expected a peaceful night sleep, instead we had pots and pans clanking in the pot washing station until 11:30 at night. After 2 calls to the front desk nothing was fixed. The 10% discount on my bill was insulting. I expected a much better...

We stayed in a charming room off the central courtyard on the second floor. It was a moderate sized room for the age of the building, though the bathroom area was very small. Keep in mind, it is an older hotel, though well kept, with a tremendous amount of charm. The room had french doors that opened to the courtyard....

Just back from another superb stay at The Cypress Inn. The visit last year was brief but beautiful and this time it was fabulous!! This hotel is simply exquisite in its concept, its character & its charm . . and everyone there helped to make us feel like we were old friends on a visit . . Not a trace...

The hotel was very nice but Room 219 that we stayed in needs some changes. Bed was extremely uncomfortable, no AC, bathroom had not shellves to put things, carpet needs to be clean and had some type of odor. Public area was excellent.

We have stayed at the Cypress in the past. For this visit we stayed in a suite that unfortunately was very noisy. We were right above the kitchen for the restaurant. It was noisy every evening until about 11pm. We had wanted to keep our windows open to have a nice cool ocean breeze coming through our room, but the...

Overall, we had a nice stay. We love the location of the Cypress Inn and the general feel of the facilities. However, we were disappointed by the noise level in our room (from the kitchen), as well as the crowded nature of the inn (now that they have a full-service restaurant), and we would have liked more variety at breakfast...

The value received was not even close to the price paid. The room was cramped and noisy. And the parking was awful unlike the website states "PARKING AVAILABLE". This was a special anniversary trip for us and our doggy and your hotel became a negative for our memories.

This hotel has a great atmosphere more like being in someone's home rather than a hotel. Our room though not large was very comfortable and had everything we needed and the decor was beautiful. There are lots of lovely little touches, like a decanter of sherry in your room, with complimentary snacks. There are a number of terraces and lounges...

This is a charming hotel in the heart of Carmel. Rooms and bath are small but well-appointed. Breakfast is included and the popovers are a must-have. They have music on the weekend in the lounge which brings guests together and is lots of fun. You need to be a dog lover as this hotel is well known for being dog-friendly.
