A delightful and tasty experience. No valet parking is a major problem especially in Carmel. The rooms, service and staff were were fantastic but the breakfast was at best average. the hotel is very charming. Would recommend.

Love this hotel but until they need to update some of their rooms. When booking I highly suggest calling and discussing room options instead of booking online. Room #114 is not in good shape at all and it is very, very loud. I voted low on the sleep quality and room quality strictly for that room- the others might be... More

We've tried several pet friendly accommodations, but Cypress Inn beats them all! What a joy to sit in the beautiful living room with our dog Bella in front of the fireplace and socialize with the other guests and their furry family members. We've never felt more welcomed. The bar service was excellent and the rooms lovely, staying true to the... More

An excellent small hotel with an incredibly friendly staff. Our every whim and need was catered to by the staff. Being able to bring our dog was a large part of why we chose the CI (well that and the incredible ratings). Dog or no dog, I'd recommend this quaint inn without hesitation. The food was amazing and the rooms... More

Stayed at the Cypress Inn with family on our way to Pebble Beach and I was so impressed! The staff was very friendly and welcoming, my room was spacious/comfortable and I loved the complimentary nightcap cordial in the room. We had drinks in the living room to see all kinds of dogs also enjoying the open windows, fireplace and comfy... More

We booked on a whim after deciding to stay in Carmel for the night. What a good decision. Randy at the front desk was so helpful, upgrading our room for the night (it was my husband's birthday), giving us a complementary drink at the bar and lots of advice on where to eat! The rooms were very comfortable, the overall... More

We go to Doris Day's Cypress Inn about once a year with our delightful doggie. It's always fun to include our canine & watch everyone else's dog, too! The rooms are spacious & comfy, quiet, great service in the bar/restaurant. Breakfast has something for everyone. Everyone is friendly & helpful. A must do for dog people visiting Carmel!

We visit The Cypress Inn each year - if not twice on occasion and often with our dog. Their grand fireplace living room is a most special place - it reminds me of my own home - so I call it "mine" while I am there. The outside patio is always glittering with white lights in the evening turning it into...
