If you're lucky, Clint himself will walk thru the restaurant to get some take out food. A cozy piano bar anchors the inside section. Outside patio seating with heat is year round. Menu has something for everyone from burgers to scallops to steak and ribs and fish. Great apple cobbler w/ ice cream, Good wine by the glass prices. The...

A super place to stay. Rooms are full of character and in a wonderful setting. Grounds are immaculate and staff very friendly. It is an easy walk into Carmel which is a charming town with a fantastic beach. We will be back.

This is a lovely place, with a pleasant country atmosphere. However, there is a fatal flaw: the beds do not have a good pillow top and are simply too hard for many to be able to sleep. What good is it to stay in a pleasant, country place if you cannot get a decent night's sleep.

We stayed here for a night - what a treat. It's rare that you find a place with this much history/popularity that is still so peaceful. The views are incredible - honestly, my favorite in the area. The Sunday brunch was also really cool, would definitely recommend. We stayed in the Hayloft, which was gorgeous and very peaceful.

This venue was amazing! Very quaint and quiet! We were a little concerned when we saw there was no A/C, but the temperature in Carmel is cool and breezy. We truly enjoyed the location and the beautiful grounds. We felt like we were in another world! We will return!

We were a family of five and regret very much we spent only one night after going through all the hassles of booking this hotel. We stayed in the farmhouse as that's what was available and I must say, it was very good. Rooms were spacious, had all the amenities. Only disappointment was the wifi, which didn't work most of...

When you go on a vacation, do you look for a pleasant greeting when you arrive, a great ocean view, very comfy bed in front of a fireplace, great shower/bathroom, quiet beyond quiet, fantastic restaurant 50-100 steps from your room that also has an ocean view, a sign along late evening bar that jumps with the crowd, great size glasses...

We ate on the deck one early Wednesday evening. The place is popular and crowded, noisy in the bar area. Deck was pleasant on a beautiful evening. View was OK, sheep laying in a meadow with estuary beyond in the distance, not spectacular. The food was very good and a good drinks selection. First come first served, so come early...

My sister, husband and I booked the Bunkhouse for a short stay after seeing the beautiful pictures online. The building itself is clean and comfortable but dated. The Bunkhouse is a stand alone building with two bedrooms, sitting room and one bath. The outdoor porch looks over a fenced meadow which during the day is the home to about 40...

Staying at Mission Ranch is truly a treat. Close enough to the action in Carmel yet private and charming. The restaurant and bar are fairly small and caters to Carmel residents and tourists alike. Go for a cocktail and enjoy the sunset and beautiful working farm.
