We loved the beautiful European elegance of this hotel's decor (especially the lobby), the central location and the friendly service at reception. The hot breakfast was not disappointing either. However we were unlucky with the two standard rooms assigned for our one night stay, which were on the second floor on the backside of the hotel facing a parking lot...

And we LOVE the Pine Inn. You can't ask for a better location than being right on Ocean Ave in the heart of it all. Free parking. Free Wi-Fi. Breakfast included. It's not cheap, but I guess I'm saying it's nice that they don't charge an additional fee for these things. I had read some negatives about noise but did...

Spent wonderful evening recently at the Pine Inn in Carmel. Great hotel. Ambiance was perfect. Great location right in the heart of Carmel. Pricey but worth it. Parking is limited so you have to time it right to get a space in their lot, but not a big deal in my opinion.

Perfect Location, perfect room, excellent breakfast and good service. Just perfect. This is one to revisit. Carmel is a delight with great restaurants and shops. The beach is beautiful and we watched a school of dolphin come close to shore

The Pine Inn couldn't be better positioned - walk out the front door and you're smack in the centre of Carmel and 5 minutes from the beach. The building is old and has bags of character - a real old fashioned hotel experience with great service. The age does have one or two disadvantages, the main one from our perspective...

My wife and I stayed two nights in October. Our room had a great view of the bay and the room was nice and clean and big. The service was good except for the second evening; the maid came to turn down the bed at 7pm when I had just come out of the shower. I asked her to come...

We loved our stay at the Pine Inn! The decor was very fitting for the style of hotel. However, our room was not air conditioned and we only had one functioning window in the bathroom. It got quite warm during the day, but the staff did bring fans to better accommodate us. The location was great and the hotel restaurant...

The Pine Inn is a charming old hotel in the center of Carmel. It does have its quirks, but it is old and beautiful and that just added to its charm. Our room was clean had a fantastic view of the town. We were on the third floor and didn't feel the lack of an elevator was a problem. However,...

So we start with a third floor room- oh did I say no elevators and narrow - oh yes historic and charming staircase. But then--oops the card doesn't work-- you know the drill. So then the toilet is plugged--and yes plugged the second day too--no we only used it appropriately. Then the windows don't open and frankly I don't know...

Dear Potential Guests, I am somewhat at a loss on how to respond to this guest. Let me first say that I (we) am very sorry that the accommodations were not up to this guests' expectations. I sincerely wish that this guest would have contacted the front desk or me during his stay. By doing so, we could have listened...

What a lovely place. The room was comfortable and having windows that opened to let in the sea breeze yet remained quite was the best. Breakfast was served in the adjoining restaurant in a beautiful, sunny glass enclosed porch. The entire experience was very romantic and relaxing.
