Carmel lodge was ok. The rooms are small and out dated. Continental breakfast was meager. In the heart of town, close to many shops and places to eat. Carmel Lodge was about 8 blocks from the beach a pleasant place to walk around.

Very comfortable room and bed, the bathroom was a little bit "shabby" but it was clean and functional. The coffee and croissant for breakfast was a nice touch, but we found that we wanted to be out and about early and it wasn't too convenient. You have to book your time slot for it be delivered and we found that...

I called the night before and the lady working the front desk was exceptionally personable. Upon checking in, it was the same nice lady and she was so efficient and sweet. Pros: Room was quite large. We booked a Deluxe King Room with a Fireplace. Bathroom amenities were good quality. An additional log was provided for the fireplace with zero...

The room was great - two blocks from Ocean drive. Very clean, roomy and great bed - firm without being hard and a great set of pillows. Comfortable bath tub, quiet room, continental breakfast with coffee served in the room (included). I travel all the time and stay at many four and five star hotels. This is not luxury -...

Very comfortable King size bed and pillows. Walking distance to downtown and amenities. Clean and very pet friendly. Our street level room could hear the patrons voices in the parking lot. But it was a very good value for Cooper the terrier. Unfortunately no frig, coffee maker or microwave. But great coffee in the lobby.

I stayed at Carmel Lodge with my adult son and daughter. We stayed in teh cottage Suite and with two bedrooms one bath and a living room, it was just the right size. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean, the soaps smelled wonderful. We loved the delivery of croissants and coffee in the morning and the...

Good location in the center of the village with a balcony to eat breakfast and just enjoy. Staff were excellent and helped us with a third night even though the Inn was packed for a wedding. Would return any time we are able.

Our visit to Carmel was for two nights. We needed a place that was close to Monterey but in the wonderful area of Carmel by the Sea. This was perfect for us as we were hustling about the area. No, it was not new, modern or high end, but it was clean, convenient and the bed was very, very comfortable....
