We spent one night at this hotel/motel. The location in Carmel is excellent...easy walking distance to the town shops and restaurants. If you are not too fussy about having a luxurious room or lovely décor, this is a great place to sleep for one night. The lady that greeted us was very pleasant. Our room included breakfast which they delivered...

The room was clean and comfortable. We had plenty of room and the hotel was very convenient to shops, restaurants, etc. and not far from the beach. We would definitely stay there again. Breakfast was brought to our room each morning and it was more than adequate, a croissant, strawberries, juice and coffee.

Fairly standard motel room, but pet friendly. Had an upstairs room with small balcony, which made it nice. Very convenient to several excellent restaurants within a two block radius. A mini-fridge in the room would have been welcome. Coffee from the lobby was actually good.

Hello, NK! Thanks for the nice review and I'm so glad you got to enjoy Carmel with your dog. It's one of the dog-friendliest towns in America, and I hope you made it down to off-leash Carmel Beach, my dog's favorite place in the world. Working on the mini-fridges. We get raves about the coffee...it's from Carmel Valley Roasting Company....

We recently stayed here for one night whilst on our honeymoon. The hotel room was clean and comfortable for the stay. The room didn't have air con so this may be an issue in summer but did have a portable fan which we used. The continental breakfast was also nice. We would stay again if we are ever back in...

Front desk lady was so sweet. She answered all questions, we where able to check in early, told us a bunch of awesome places to eat and was so thorough. Couldn't ask for a better location. Breakfast was brought to the room (strawberrys, orange juice, coffee and a delicious croissant). Room was clean and bed was very comfy. We had...

Its in the hub of the village. The beds and pillows are super comfortable. We come to Carmel all the time and finally found a place that has great parking, great prices, pet friendly and they even bring breakfast to your room. Staff has always been super nice. Very close to center Carmel. Staff at reception are their to help. Rooms are clean but basic. Breakfast served in room (coffee, croissant, fruit, juice). Price quality in line. Lady late afternoon at reception can redirect you where to eat and drink at carmel.

It is a nice place. We only stay one night while driving to the coast. Comfortable room, free parking. The breakfast was served in the bedroom but it was very weak. Close to main street and a nice stroll to the beach.

Hello, Sleiman Z! Thanks for the review and for mentioning your stroll to the beach. People sometimes get distracted on the way to the beach by all the amazing restaurants and shops in Carmel, but Carmel Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on the California coast. This lodge is old and homey....it has the barn doors ( where you can open the top but leave the bottom closed). It is clean and quiet and the breakfast of strawberries and croissants was just enough to last till lunch. My only drawback about the place is that you have to leave the grounds to smoke.
