We stayed a week at The Village Inn and found the experience to be totally awesome! Why? Because the room was clean, quiet and well furnished. The desk clerks were polite, knowledgeable and friendly. The breakfast was outstanding--considering it was right up our alley--vegan! And the location of this motel is just at the bottom of the hill where the...

Location is what this motel has going for it...and good parking. They serve breakfast, that is pleasant. The rate is good. I did not care for the room. It seemed clean, but dingy at the same time, with frayed lampshades, black out curtains disintegrating and holes in. They were needed to be shut to keep your privacy. Everybody walking by...

Most of Carmel was within walking distance of the motel which is right downtown. Rooms are clean and inviting. Big king size beds with cushioned head board. Nice breakast in the morning - but get there early before everything disappears. Convenient parking. Free WiFI

Stayed at this hotel President's Day weekend. Got a super good rate via hotels.com. Location was kitty corner from the main street. Check in was very easy. Stayed upstairs in room 25. One king bed with what I think is a newly rehabbed bathroom. Spacious and clean. TV has Infinety cable. The room was cold when we entered. There wasn't...

This hotel is easy to find just off the main street and minutes from the highway. The anticipated weather forecast was rain so we weren't worried to much about the location as long as it was in Carmel. The hotel is easy walking distance to everything (stores and restaurants) and a very short walk to the beach. The room was...

The beach is walking distance from the hotel. The parking lot was convenient too since we didn't have to pay for parking. The King Room was...

The Carmel Village inn is a great inn for exploring Carmel and the surrounding area. The rooms are very clean and have been upgraded and the bed is very comfortable and gives a great nights sleep. Sun is on the front most rooms from breakfast to sunset so you can sit out with a glass of something after exploring and...

We booked the Carmel Village Inn very last minute as a stop over travelling from San Francisco to LA. It was during a heat wave, so the first thing we noticed was that the aircon was "broken". Advised from reception that there's no air-conditioning due to the climate not needing it. Our room was situated very close to the smoking...
