The Adobe Inn is very well situated for reaching all around Carmel-by-the-sea on foot. We stayed Thursday-Sunday without a car at all, and never regretted it for a moment. We could have easily walked to three or four different wine tastings each day, and we only didn't because so many other fun little shops and galleries were distracting us in...

The hotel staff at Adobe Inn is very accommodating and helpful. This is a modest hotel with all the basic amenities. The rooms feel clean and the king bed was comfortable. The included breakfast is brought to your room in the morning on a tray. A simple meal - oatmeal, juice, and fresh fruit that we enjoyed everyday. The best...

Adobe Inn is a small, nice, tidy hotel in the heart of Carmel. Friendly staff and spacious rooms. Pool, sauna also avaliable. Very good wifi. Adobe is perfect for families as well as for couples. I do recommend this hotel when visiting the fabolous Carmel.

We live 3 hours north of Carmel and visit reguarly staying at the Adobe Inn every time. The hotel is top rated and consistent in quality and service. True, it's not a five star hotel, but among the many older hotels in Carmel, the Adobe Inn's modern look stands out. Other hotels in Carmel are charging much more for much...

I found this place to be a very nice establishment. It is quite quain, yet upgraded enough to provide the required amenities. The bed was comfortable in the pillows were good, and I would say it was all exceptionally clean. The room had an actual window which opened including a balcony and the fireplace - it was all quite romantic....

We only wanted to be in Carmel for one night, and the hotels have 2-night minimums that they apparently drop around Wednesdays. So we picked this hotel based on location and decent reviews. Comfortable bed, spacious, quiet room despite facing Dolores Street. Toilet broke. Room worn around the edges. Breakfast doesn't get served until 8:30 -- we were up early...

Great hotel in heart of Carmel Village. Rooms are large and comfortable with fireplace and adequate seating. Beds and bath very good. This is an older hotel but maintained well. Good parking on premises which is hard to find in the village hotels. A close easy walk to all village shopping and Resturant's.

The Adobe Inn is located near the central Carmel area and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Room was clean, fresh, and quiet. Bed was very comfortable. We slept with the sliding door to balcony open and had the sound of the ocean putting us to sleep. We arrived early and staff let us park our car in the...

Our one night stay was delightful. Our children had a spacious room with a small bathroom connected to our larger room. The balconies were cute, the location to Ocean Ave was perfect and the in room breakfast (included) was better than expected. I would be happy to recommend this to others.

Just two blocks off Ocean Ave. and walking distance to the beach and Scenic Drive, the Adobe Inn suited us well. We spent three days in Carmel enjoying the shops, restaurants,17 Mile Drive, Point Lobos and Monterey. Our room was large and clean. Yes, it's a bit dated, but that is part of the charm of Carmel. Loved the breakfast...
