This property is conveniently located to everything in downtown Carmel. It's perfect if you don't have a car, or if you want to walk to everything -- the ocean, shops, restaurants, the Sunset Center. It feels like a hybrid -- a cross between a B/B and a motel. It's compact and practical, with parking on the property. And as at...

We went through Carmel on Valentine's Day. Many options wanted extremely high premiums for a Tuesday night, albeit, Valentine's Day stay. Coachman's did not jack up their very reasonable rate. The location is perfect. The staff bends over backwards for you. The other guests were so pleasant that we all had a great time at breakfast. Breakfast was adequate and...

We were in Carmel for the final day of the Pebble Beach Pro Am. We turned up at the Coachman's Inn and were lucky enough to get one of their last rooms. The Inn is small and charming, and very well decorated. The free canapés and drinks in the evening were a lovely bonus. Great homemade breakfast too! Definitely recommend...

We stayed here for one night and booked it last minute. It is in a good location in the town itself and we could walk to restaurants from here. Check-in was efficient and very friendly. there is a cheese and wine reception every afternoon. The room we got was nice enough and had a gas fire. The only downside was...

We loved this hotel! We stayed just one night for a quick overnight trip to Carmel and decided on this charming little place. Very quick check-in with a friendly and helpful lady at the front desk. We ate their complimentary cookies while waiting a short while for our room since we arrived a bit early. The room was super cute...

It was my first time to Carmel and considering there are no numbered addresses, I had a little difficulty locating the property. Once I found it and pulled into the paver driveway and parking lot and was immediately impressed with the decor and grounds. The pictures really don't do it justice. We arrived before check-in, so our room wasn't ready...

This was a repeat stay at the inn. We enjoyed our room, afternoon cookies, evening wine and cheese. We really like the balcony seating area and outside appearance of inn. The rooms and inn are very clean and well maintained. We always appreciate the easy location of the inn.

Best service, rooms, management, food...only place we would choose to stay in all of Carmel. If We couldn't book here we would change our travel dates. The entire staff is wonderful. The location is central to the village. But more than anything it is the service.

Room was great. Breakfast was awesome. Staff super friendly. The only reason I can't give a 5 star recommendation is that the walls are quite thin and we could hear basically everything from the room above us. Things as simple as a guest walking around were quite loud and can be an issue. Other than this, the Coachmann's Inn is...

I rolled into town at about 3pm with my two young boys in tow, gearing up for a last-minute trip to Monterey. Having checked out the inn online the night before, it appeared they had quite a few rooms available and I wasn't yet sold on staying in Carmel. So without a reservation, we walked in and I asked about...
