My fiancé and I had planned a trip from San Francisco to San Diego and booked this hotel via Hotwire.com. It was advertised as 3 star. It should have been advertised as 0.5 star. You should believe all the negative reviews posted about this hotel - they are all true! During check-in we found the lady on the front desk...

We stayed in this hotel for night. The woman who served the breakfast, literally screamed at us telling us to have to hurry up because she has to go home!! As far as I am concerned, they should all stay home and don't bother to come to work in this place! (The Breakfast was supposed to be served until 9:30...

Made reservations for what was supposed to be a suite. Arrived & only 2 rooms avail to use, filthy bath and bdrm. But were charged for the extra space. Bed and pillows smelled like something died in it. No cheese/wine false advertisement all the way. Terrible isn't enough bad said about this place. If people say this place is decent...

Dirty, broken furniture, bad food, rude service. The room smelled strongly of mildew, the furniture was charmless junk from the 1970's which was literally falling apart. They service white bread and margarine for breakfast and there is no coffee maker in the room. For more details and pictures, please see my Yelp review.

It's located in the center of Carmel, which is safe and convenient. That's the ONLY reason to stay here and the owner's clearly know it. This hotel seems fill up when the others are sold out. The hotel is about 100 years old according to the front desk employee, and that's the excuse for the extremely poor quality of the...

All I can say is DONT do it. This place is a DUMP. I have nothing to gain writing this review. I'm only trying to save poor unsuspecting travels from making a bad hotel mistake like I did. I am flabbergasted that this place can charge $300 + during the high season. Sleep in your car instead if need be....

The Inn met (not exceeded) our basic needs. We called twice for a price and somehow the rate dropped by $20 within 20 minutes. Room was spacious for our family of 4 and breakfast was good. Accommodations very antiquated (TV from the 70's) and WiFi was poor. Location was great -- easy walk to town, shops and the beach. Staff...

Admittedly booked 48 hours ahead of staying in Carmel but $300 is excessive for a 2 star (at best) hotel. We arrived around 9:30pm and collected key from the reception/dining area door. The room did have a direct outside door to the street which was good because we took our dog but the room was very outdated - 20 year...

I was slightly anxious after reading the reviews but they are unfounded. It is really close to town, maybe 3 tiny blocks. The rooms are simple, a little tired, but clean and that is all we wanted for one night. So much on this coast is over priced so this was refreshing. As the check in man said, this is...
