The rooms here were clean and comfortable. We stayed in a king size suite and it was perfect for both my husband and our 2 dogs. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was great with a separate shower, jacquzzi tub and ample place to put your items. Breakfast in the morning offered a good variety of hot and cold...

My husband and I (and our little dog, Sugar) just got back today from a wonderful 3-night stay at the Carmel Country Inn. This is a wonderful, pet-friendly inn just a few blocks down from the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea. We walked down to the beach every day and enjoyed strolling the off-leash dog-friendly beach almost as much as our little...

I booked a weekend for the Carmel Country Inn to propose to my girlfriend. When I booked the room I was unsure of the specifics except that I wanted us to be in Carmel-by-the-sea. When I called I ask Amy the inn-keeper and she recommended I call Brian at Romantic Room Designs. Brian recommended a bonfire on the beach at...

The Carmel Country Inn was the ideal hotel in which to spend our last 3 nights in California. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the rooms were excellent and the breakfast extensive. The setting of the hotel, on the outskirts of Carmel shopping centre, made it accessible during both the day and the night - but don't forget the...

We and our dog Josie were welcomed to a very clean and pet-loving Carmel Country Inn. The room was small but well appointed. The bathtub, shower and tile floor were all updated and sparkling clean. The king bed was great, they accommodated us with non-down pillows, and breakfast in the morning was healthy and plentiful. I would definitely stay here...

We used to love getting away for the weekend in the Bay Area but seldom do it now that we have a dog. When we saw an article that said the Inn welcomes dogs, we thought we'd try it out and also try out Carmel Beach since we heard it was a great dog beach. We were upgraded to a...

we spent 2 nights for our 20th anniversary. loved everything about the place, people and pets. our only regret was not bringing our dogs (big dogs so they would have had to fly with luggage). it was romantic and friendly, the two cats there were wonderful as well and really made us feel at home. the tub was amazing and...
