Very nice old style inn. Many sitting areas to relax, flowers and trinkets everywhere , right on them aim street. Eva the owner was very helpful with info about the town and places to eat out. Free cookies and sherry in the main sitting area by the fireplace, tea and coffee available at all times, also some local wines available... More

Friendly hosts and very good breakfast. Thought room was over priced based on furnishings, lighting, no HD reception and limited TV channel selection. Also disappointed that our room did not have a stand up shower even though it had a jacuzzi tub. All guest rooms are in a separate building behind the original historic home.

The Bidwell House is a very nice place to stay at. Everything is decorated with outstanding good taste and with high value. The innkeepers are very friendly and know the area very well. We stayed here for three nights and would have loved to stay longer! There is so much to see and do in the area and it is... More

We stayed only one night at the Bidwell House but had a lovely time. Our room was well appointed but what really stood out what the service we received from everyone who works at the House. They really make you feel welcome. The breakfast was really lovely, it seems to change everyday so although you don't get a choice it's... More

Everything is first class. The rooms are comfortable, quiet, and large. The staff is exceptional. An outdoor patio for outdoor relaxing, an indoor sunroom and large lobby if weather doesn't,t cooperate. Breakfast is presented as if you were in a high end restaurant and the food meets those expectations. For the experience and value, this place is a bargain.

We stayed in the Hummingbird Room. The bed was very good; the bathroom was Eva, the innkeeper, and her staff were very helpful. The only negative was that neither wi-fi router could be counted on to give reliable service in our room.

Beautiful property, friendly people, good breakfast and you are served! Room was huge and attractively decorated. Liked the porch and yard swing. The Lake Almanor is close and we watched the sunset which was lovely. WIFI did not work in room but did outside. This was a stop over to Lassen National Park which I would highly recommend also. Wish... More

Beautiful flowers outside. Lovely grounds. Enjoy sitting outside in the gazebo, the swing or the numerous rocking chairs. The breakfasts were delicious! The only complaint was the squeaky floors. We had to walk very lightly to try not to disrupt other patrons but overall, the place was great! Perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway.

We stayed one night at the Bidwell house in June 2016 and picked the Old Glory room. The room smelled fresh, was very clean and very spacious. Carpets looked new. The bed was one of the best beds I have ever slept on and the bathroom had both a shower and a jacuzzi tub. There was nobody present when we... More

We did a short stay at this beautifully maintained B&B near Lassen National Park and Lake Almanor. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. We had full access to the grounds and main house during our stay with many areas to sit and relax. The included breakfast in the morning was hearty and delicious. The hostess and staff were very...
