We stayed in the Montrachet suite for 2 nights last week. The views of the vineyard ARE beautiful. The "décor" of the room had a rustic charm, but it's frankly worn out and has seen better days. Cleanliness was more of an concern as huge cobwebs were hanging from the bed posts and ceilings in plain sight. I'm a city...

Well, all I can say about this review is "OUCH"! That hurts! Particularly since this guest stayed in a new renovated suite that is hands down the favorite of our guests, and this is the first time someone has considered that room to be dated. As for the ethnic slurs, have you ever tried to tell a funny story that...

Here's a surprise: when you arrive you find that you're almost in the middle of a vineyard, your room is comfortable in a good old-fashioned way, the bed lets you sleep, you wake up to a gourmet breakfast, you get good advice on what the surrounding vineyards (there are dozens of them) offer and where the good restaurants are, you...

We just returned from 3 nights at Auberge where we had a very nice stay. We stayed in the Victorian house, which was nicely decorated with antiques. Our room, the Hermitage, has a great big bed and huge modern bathroom. We felt very much at home there. It's great being on a large vineyard. We took walks in it every...

So my partner and I were planning a short weekend away from the city (San Francisco) and all along I thought we were going camping. Much to my surprise, he pulled into the parking lot of the Auberge and said, "surprise!" As much as I love a good camping trip, this was most certainly an upgrade. The Auberge is everything...

I initially wanted to stay in Calistoga for one night at another B&B for a day spa I was planning, but I ran into this beautiful place somehow and ended up booking a 3 night stay at their Montrachet Suite! How can you say no to their 3 for 2 deal?! 3 nights and I only paid for 2! So,...

This was our second visit and Roxanne and her staff out did themselves again. The view of the vineyard from the balcony of the Carriage house is to die for. The breakfasts are outstanding and unique. I have recommended Auberage to a number of friends and business associates and will continue to do so. My wife and I are already...

We traveled to Sonoma wine country for the first time, with another couple, and stayed at Auberge based on their previous experience. We stayed in the Vouvray room on the upper floor of the Carriage house that overlooked the vast vineyard. From the moment we saw the view and the quaint surroundings, we knew we made a good choice. The...

Breakfasts were amazing! We stayed for 6 days and had a unique and delicious breakfast each day. My room was very comfortable, but my parents room was on the 2nd floor of the guest house and was very warm. That and the bathtub (can be and was difficult for older guests) are the only reasons I am not giving an...

We picked this place on the strength of TA ratings and were not disappointed. We booked for 3 nights and used it as our base to expore wine country. The deck that overlooks a neighboring vineyard is a great place to sit at the end of the day and read or sip some wine. The owner is actively involved in...

We had a really great time at the Auberge on the Vineyard. Roxanne is so knowledgeable about the area and happy to tell you all about it. The breakfasts were truly decadent and set the tone for great days. The other people who worked at the Auberge were also very warm and fun to chat with. We celebrated our 1...
