We can't say enough about the Columbia Gem Motel. Rooms are clean, cute, comfortable, quiet. We just spend a couple of nights there and we plan to go back again. Rene is very helpful and nice. Very cute rustic cabins, and close to Jamestown, Sonora, and Columbia. There is no in

My parents and I were passing through and had nowhere to stay for the night. We passed this place to give it a try. The front door was locked so we rang the bell. A gentleman opened a side window and asked what we wanted, we told him we needed one night. He unlocked the door and

I loved this little place. It has separate cabins to stay in-very quaint, cozy and comfortable. Plus I enjoyed the vintage feel of the cabins. Fantastic, very friendly customer service. An extremely nice person, presumably the owner. Very clean, comfy beds, and a great

"I was told room - 1 is a two room suite. We had room - 9 & 10. They had two queens beds."
"We stayed in #3 which is a small and cozy room. The view we had from this room I would say is the best. I could see deer each day, quail once in awhile, and some of the most beautiful butterflies. Very nice."
"Ask about beds in cabins/rooms before booking. Most come with FULL beds which is fine for kids...several rooms do have queens..no kings, and they seem to be on the older, more worn, variety.. be advised."
"Room 9 was perfect. It had two queen beds, one a little firmer than the other so we were able to pick and choose based on our personal preferences."
"The motel section rooms are larger, but the cottages are great fun and (my wife adds) very romantic."
