We stayed 4 nights in room 218 with a balcony and a lovely view overlooking the harbour and couldn't fault it. Been to Coronado a few times and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Being across the road from the Del Coronado you can enjoy the beach and the bars/restaurants of the Del without paying the extra price. Complimentary breakfast was good,...

We stayed in room 788. It was a very large KING Bay View room, equipped with coffee maker, microwave, small sink, dishes and silverware. The bed was very comfortable. The "bay view" was a bit obstructed by some trees, and there is a road or two between you and the harbor, but I still believe the bay view rooms have...

We were in the mansion in the Sunset Room. Small room (think bedroom size with en suite bath) but not cramped. The side balcony area really makes it feel larger than it is. Actual usable fridge, coffeemaker, very comfy bed. Service was the perfect mix of friendly but not overbearing. Loved the fresh baked cookies and milk left in the...

Another year has past and we made our yearly trip to Coronado Island. We stayed at our favorite Inn and it was great. The staff at the Inn are excellent. We love their morning breakfast setup. If your looking for a comfortable place to stay, then this is the place. Your right across the street from the beach. By the...

We stayed here for a special getaway while our daughter was at camp. Our plan was to recreate some memories that involved bike riding around Coronado and San Diego. The staff could not have been more helpful in making this a special time. We arrived with bicycles at 9 am and we're hoping to have a place to park and...

The Glorietta Bay Inn is a lovely boutique hotel with complementary breakfast each day and afternoon gingersnap cookies and flavored lemonade. The grounds and courtyards are beautiful! Lovely areas for families and friends to gather. Heated pool and jacuzzi. But the very best thing about this place is the staff. So friendly, so accommodating. I definitely recommend this beautiful inn!

My husband and I spent two nights over the Memorial holiday weekend at the GBI. We had a great stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The grounds and pool area very clean and well maintained. The breakfast, afternoon lemonade and cookies plus all day tea and coffee a great plus. We stayed in a "snug room". The room...

If you are looking for a clean, comfortable unique hotel with both class and charm, you can't do better than the Glorietta Bay Inn. A century ago the Inn was the mansion home of John D. Spreckels, one of San Diego's leading citizens and owner of the Del Coronado, which is right across the street (Orange Avenue). Today this beautiful...

All around, best hotel I have stayed at! We arrived in town very early and long before check in time. We stopped in to check if it was possible to leave our bags, to which the incredibly friendly front desk staff was more than happy to accommodate us. They gave us a call when the room was ready and had...

Unfortunately due to an error in my booking our room was not available when we arrived. That said .. The guys on the front desk were amazing... Ringing around to get us a room at another hotel at there expense. We ended up in Beautiful historic hotel in the gaslight district the US Grant. We returned the following day to...
