Nice view from bluff, showers and toilets pretty clean. We were wondering why other RVs had baking soda around wheels and mounting stabilizers. We were invaded by ants and that's how they got inside. It pretty well ruined our trip and took a lot of effort to clean it all up. There was a trail of ants that went up...

This is a great beach campground. The location is ideal. Try to get a spot on the bluff side. Very casual and fun for the whole family. There is a taco stand, camp store and a surf school on the premises. Cardiff is a funky town with good restaurants close by so if you get tired of camp food you...

If you are a young, friendly family who are not too uptight about privacy, love the beach, dogs, and young kids, this is the place for you! Make reservations six months out though if you want a good site. This is a great place to make family memories!

Beautiful state beach campground with nicely spaced sites, awesome view. Sadly our travel trailer was invaded by ants! When we talked to the Rangers we were told that we were not allowed to spay or put down any ant killer. I'm not talking about 50 ants I'm talking about 500 to 1000 ants. The host told us that our spot...

I'm not going to go into too much detail here because it's hard enough to get a reservation at this place and I'd rather have it all to myself. Awesome location, decent surf with multiple points. Bull taco on site. Great little camp store with everything you need. Word to the wise, if you don't like very, very loud train...

San Elijo is more like an extended overnight beach slumber party than actual camping, but what a stellar location for a few days of outdoor enjoyment. If you get the right campsite you'll be on a low cliff over the beach with unbeatable views of the sunset and the coastline stretching South all the way to La Jolla. To the...

This is a great campground on the ocean in Cardiff by the Sea. Close to San Diego as well as "beachie" towns such as Encinitas, Solana, Del Mar & Carlsbad. There are 28 sites with hook-ups...the rest are dry camping. This campground is walking distance to Starbucks, a great little market & restaurants. Nothing like camping at the ocean. OH...if...

this was our first time camping here. We had heard about the train noise and thought we could handle it. Here's what I will say... We were at site 124, which backs up directly onto PCH. There was also a lot of street traffic noise. The trains were horrible the first night. It was a Monday night and maybe there...

We had a wonderful 5-night stay at San Elijo State Beach Campground and are already planning and plotting our vacation for next September. This campground has a wonderful Southern California surf vibe with most people here with surfboards and boogie boards in tow. I can't even tell you how wonderful it was to wake up just before sunrise, make a...

This camp ground is great for kids and adults we stayed in site 13 with full hook ups and a beach view. The beach is clean and the waves are small and good for the kids to learn how to surf. The campsite is located on a bluff above the beach so access to the beach is mostly stairs. They...
