We had a lovely babymoon at this resort over a recent long weekend. We requested a grotto king room which was advertised as being in the grotto area – while that is true, be aware that some of these rooms are on the opposite side of the building from the grotto and are nearest the drive/parking area, next to the...

We opted for the day spa package. What's great at this spa: 1. Fabulous restaurant with beautiful views and wonderful food 2. Gorgeous setting - thermal pools carved in rocks surrounded by palm trees 3. Experienced staff - all three of us were very pleased with our massages/treatments BUT inexplicable, terrible locker rooms/changing facilities. The room is tiny, coed. The...

I've been to this property a handful of times and always enjoy returning to enjoy the peaceful environment and healing hot springs. Some of the rooms have been renovated and some are small, quirky, rustic and feel like high end camping. This is an adults only (non-nudity) resort. The highlights for me are the yoga classes, the sound baths, the...

Had a great stay at the newly remodeled Two Bunch Palms. Nothing like the grotto pool fed by a natural hot spring. Room was beautiful, textiles were gorgeous. Bed so comfortable we asked for source to buy one! Staff was cheerful and accommodating especially BRANDI at the front desk. Strong recommend!

My husband and I stayed here for a pre-Valentine weekend. There are many wonderful things about this resort. Many of the rooms have been re-modeled and we stayed in a newer section (153). The beds are very comfortable and we slept well in them. The room had a refrigerator and an Illy espresso machine . It was a tad difficult...

In January we stayed in a newly remodeled Grotto room at Two Bunch Palms. The room is pleasant although it lacks a space or dresser to unpack a suitcase. It was furnished with many decorative pillows that were nice to look at but took up too much space. There are new soaking pools so now guests have a choice of...

We stayed here for our baby-moon and basically got what we were looking for: relaxation! We were here Tuesday through Saturday and absolutely noticed a difference on the weekend from our experience during the week. The grounds themselves are quite lovely, from the world's happiest ducks running up to you every time you pass by to the grotto to the...

The renovated grotto still seems to be the oasis it resembles. The rooms are ...better, partially upgraded (example: too well-used front doormat seems like a leftover...backyard patio has cigarette butt and very dirty cushion. Service is generally improved. Price to value ratio still needs work to be competitive. Always a beautiful place.

I went to TBP yesterday for the Day, $225 including lunch. The staff at the Spa was rude and would not let me speak to a manager until I insisted. She said the Manager was at lunch, and did not offer to help me with a small change in my treatment that I was requesting. Treatment was mediocre, and the...

This lovely hot mineral water resort was built of stone and wood in the 1940's. Its many buildings and outdoor grotto have been recently restored and rebuilt while the historic stone work has been preserved. We visited on a day pass which includes all day use of the amazing grotto and pools, classes like yoga, a delicious lunch in the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Marking 75 years in 2015, Two Bunch Palms has much to celebrate. Last year's incredible renovation of the 270-acre property resulted in 70 'soulful' new room accommodations, a farm-to-table restaurant Essense, passive solar earth mound yoga dome and a new View Point conference center and meeting facility with views of the valley against the San Jacinto Mountains. This physical transformation, including the addition of a 3.5-Acre solar field, puts Two Bunch Palms on the destination spa map as the first "Sustainable Wellness Resort" in North America and the first carbon-neutral resort. A legacy that spans several generations of guests-from notorious gangsters to Hollywood elite to romantic spa seekers-the property and its newest incarnation brings a rich and storied history full circle. This adult-only sanctuary (guests must be 18 or older) invites you to explore the four pillars of the resort: waters, spa, movement and cuisine. Their renowned, natural lithium-infused spring grotto features two mineral water pools carefully kept at a consistent temperature to ensure therapeutic and mood-enhancing properties. Guests are encouraged to "take to the 600-year old waters" and connect body with spirit before enjoying the spa well-known for its intuitive healers and authentic treatments. The new Essense restaurant features healthier gourmet dining prepared by a Le-Cordon Bleu trained chef with the help of a PHD nutritionist. With a nourished body, guests may partake in more than 35 wellness activities, such as meditation, art classes, tai chi, qigong and yoga in the beautiful new dome. ... more   less
