Detailed Reviews
Checked in for one day and immediately booked for 2 more days based on the friendly staff, and beautiful property. When I initially called to reserve, they asked the year of my RV, which gave the impression it was a snooty place, which it was not. We were in a fifth wheel and they patiently directed us to the proper spot. The property is very well manicured and it's obvious the groundskeepers have pride their work. The pools were well maintained and we enjoyed the cool hot tubs tucked here and there. The Farmer's Market set up (weekly?) was cool and we picked up some nice produce. The location is near 2 Walmart Super Centers, Costco and Sam's along with all the other businesses you would expect (Starbucks), yet it's out of the city far enough to feel like a desert oasis. Oh, and they are a Passport America Park, which gives you amazing value. We will definitely stay here again if they remain Passport America members. We are not big resort users, however, if you are, you'll be impressed!

We rented a park model trailer for one month Jan 15 to Feb 15. We really liked the place! Our rental was clean and fairly new, with plenty of storage and a little back yard and barbecue. The mineral pools and facilities are lovely, and well maintained. We enjoyed a good swim and soak daily, and sat by the pool on lounge chairs to read. The fitness centre, tennis courts, pickleball courts, horseshoe and shuffleboard facilities are all great, and other activities like bocce, golfing(nearby), bingo, card games, movie nights, waterball, fitness classes, church, are all on offer to everyone, The grounds are well maintained and safe.
All the beauty of the desert surrounds you. A 20 to 30 minute drive takes you to any type of shopping, hiking trails, restaurants, movie theatres which are all nearby.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
However, being a bit remote, we found that the wifi was spotty and unsatisfactory. Plus, we had no telephone reception at all anywhere on the resort.

Thanks for your feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the amenities and activities happening in the resort. Cell reception is excellent if you have Verizon but can be spotty with some other carriers. We hope to have you back again soon!

This is our second time spending the winter at Sky Valley, and we've already booked next year! We live full time in a 5th wheel and over the past two years+ of RVing, this place has been our favorite for a handful of reasons- the mineral hot tubs and pools, weekly farmers market, great walking paths, friendly people and beautiful views from almost anywhere in the park. They are very pet friendly and the staff is usually always able to answer questions or accommodate requests. Compared to most places we've stayed, the price is very reasonable to stay here, especially for what you're gaining access to. Only real issue I've encountered is the lack of recycling.. currently there's a resident run program which is better than nothing at all, but is quite limited (certain bottles and cans only). It feels so wasteful having to throw out the recycling, so I do hope they work it out! Highly recommend this place to anyone coming to the Palm Springs area.

We were visiting a relative in Sun City, Palm Desert. Sky Valley was an easy country road drive to Del Webb Blvd. As is often the case, since we were spending a few days there, cost was a consideration. Sky Valley is a Passport America resort so the overall expense was minimal. Sorry to say we did not get a chance to take advantage of their amenities. One of the main requirements we have is good WiFi so we can keep in touch with other family and friends. They had a strong signal to our rig and I noticed a number of WiFi antennas around the park. I visit the area once or twice a year, and I will definitely return if there is an opening. For us, this was an A+ resort. H A Hall

We stayed two weeks in March. Made reservation nearly 6 months in advance, with full payment at time of reservation. Four months later, Mgmt began discounting same sites by 40%..... which equates to hundreds of dollars. But despite several requests, Mgmt refused to give us the lower rate. Tough luck. Too bad for loyalty from returning campers!
In addition, we paid for a Deluxe Site, and were put on a Standard Site. Written request to Mgmt, for partial refund, was ignored.
We love the pools at Sky Valley, but really no other reason to stay here (@ luxury prices) and deal with non-responsive Mgmt team.

Just completed our third stay in the last three years and plan on going back early in 2021. Very clean place with great staff and new upgrades every time we have been there. We have a travel trailer and stayed in one their "elite' sites for 11 nights at the cost of a hotel room for three nights. We love the pools and activities(only outdoor at this time, including pickle ball that has a very large and active group of players that welcomed us novices who are now hooked on the sport.

Nothing else to say but incredible! We’re newbie campers and are always looking for new places with mineral springs. We love the hot springs near Pismo Beach but the hotel prices and the drive from OC get worse every year. Now, a 2 hour drive puts us in mineral water heaven in our own bed!
Your team is always friendly and accommodating, every one of the pools and restrooms are clean and in good repair. We’ll be back again very soon. Thanks.

We brought our motor home for a 2 night stay. After a soak in the pools and a beautiful starry night, we stayed and extra night! This is a very friendly place, 20 minutes or so to Palm Springs yet far enough away to be very quiet and peaceful. Awesome staff and friendly neighbors.

Spent two weeks in our RV. The park was not completely open because of COVID, but pools, jacuzzi, shuttle board, pickleball and more were open. We had an excellent and highly recommend this park for RVing or renting a Tiny House.

+1
As soon as we first entered the resort just to look around, we felt welcomed. We had no intention of staying at the resort (we were in our camper), and were thinking of this location for a future trip. We liked it so much, we changed our trip, cutting out travel north to New Mexico and Colorado, and booked an RV pad at Sky Valley Resort for 2 weeks instead.
We had one of the elite (I think it was called) RV sites nestled on a street with homes. That was excellent because it gave us a wind break (when windy) and there were trees close by. Enough so that the beautiful bird song woke us each morning. The site was level (gravel) with a concrete and turf pad.
The mineral pools were outstanding and the people were so friendly. We learned about the - all within the resort - weekly farmers market, homemade pizza, chef meals, live music, pickleball, tennis, shuffleboard, and more.
While I think this resort is more geared to folks owning and renting homes in the resort than it is to RVs, fully contained RVs that provide their own shade, are a great fit. You just can’t beat the amenities that come with staying here.
We loved this place so much that we bought a home there before we left. And in that short time we met people that we continue to stay in contact with, planning our arrivals again in the fall.
