I'm a snowbird from the Midwest. We have been coming to the Desert for the past six years. Three years ago we discovered Miracle Springs Spa. Since that time, we plan at least four visits per Winter retreat and I love each and everyone! The technicians are professional and do a great job. Treatments are moderately priced. The pools are...

Totally ruined with day-trippers allowed to use the facilities. Two spas closed, other spas quite dirty due to over-use. Pea green color, no pun intended. Capri has good food, but is smells too much of fake service dog. Same old problem with too much second-hand smoke. Sad to see facility deteriorating. Shower curtain rings missing. Nice front desk.

There isn't enough time in one day to list the problems with our 2 day visit. First off, I only stayed here because I had such a horrible experience next door at their 'Sister' hotel. Filthy conditions and roaches in our food prompted me to call the GM. He was nice enough to spend a lot of time on the...

Value for money is great. The pools are clean, the staff is great and the restaurant is truly excellent. Try their steak! It's a place we're you go to escape the crowds, sleep, soak and eat great food. The building is tired so if you are looking for beautiful rooms you will be disappointed. For the money it is unbeatable!

This is a hot springs resort. So don't expect tennis, golf, organized calisthenics, or any of that. Spa treatments are available by reservation. The clientele are mostly working class types and some foreigners passing through on holiday. You'll find a circumference of soak pools plus a central swim pool, though it's not really feasible to lap here. Pools are open...

Nobody visits the spas in Desert Hot Springs for the town itself. Situated just a few miles north of Palm Springs, it might as well be Yuma, AZ, given how far removed it feels from its glitzier neighbor. This dreary little town juxtaposes its stunning mountain vistas with block after block of empty storefronts, pawn shops and sketchy characters hanging...

It can sometimes take a while for me to decide if I like a hotel or not. On our trip to Desert Hot Springs, we booked three nights at Aqua Soleil and three nights at Miracle Springs. I liked Aqua Soleil right away. In fact we liked it so much that we looked into canceling our reservation at Miracle Springs...

We've been coming here for years. Although, as some have said the place is getting a bit tired it is still a great place to stay. Also wonderful staff. Bruce the lifeguard is very professional and also customer focused. I asked him about local hiking and he whipped out a trail guide!

Nice place that is getting old and needs an update. Rooms were clean, beds were good but everything is dated and needs a face-lift. The hot tubs were nice but again were old. If you plan on going try and get an upper level room so you can have a better view of the mountain scene. We were on the...

Our first room had a broken shower head and lots of mold in the shower and floor. Maintenance fixed the shower head but the mold could not be handled so offered another room. We checked 4 more rooms before we found a bathroom without mold in the shower. One room had mold growing on the inside rim of the toilet....
