I rented a cabin. I expected rustic. What I got was a dump. The electrical outlets would not hold a plug so I was unable to charge my phone or my camera. I knew there was no AC but the one fan that was provided had to be plugged in next to the refrigerator because the other outlets were too...

I wanted to check out Dunsmuir, mostly because the fishing is hyped up pretty good. It was over 90 degrees at 3:pm when we arrived and super humid. I had read on one review that the cabins did not have AC so I opted for the motel room, which had good AC and was cool when we opened the door....

Let me start off by saying that we did not spend the night at this place, so had we stayed, perhaps I would have had a more positive opinion. As is, my opinion is pretty low of the place. Here is our experience: We had booked one of the 2-BR mobile homes on the property. My vision of the mobile...

My son and I wrapped up a 10 fishing trip by staying here the last three nights. People seem to either hate this place or love it. It is rustic and a throw back. We are odd in that we just liked it. Louie the owner is awesome and a font of local knowledge. Make sure to talk to him...

I followed the advice found here on the Trip Advisor, and stayed at Cave Springs on my way south (from Vancouver BC to Los Angeles). The room was more than fine, but what really made it special was the hospitality. Everyone was friendly and helpful, pointing me on a wonderful hike to a nearby waterfalls, and suggesting the perfect place...

Cave Springs is a warm and welcoming place to stay from the moment you step up to the front desk. The management and staff are all about making sure that you feel comfortable in their (amazingly beautiful) corner of the world. The rooms and cabins are simply furnished but well maintained, clean and neat. The true draw of Cave Springs...

What a cute place to stay in a great small town; right next to the river with a hot tub ;-) The best Thai place around is only a 5 min walk away, and Mount Shasta ski resort is only 15 min down the road!

We have been coming to Cave Springs for over 30 years and we absolutely love the place! It is a friendly, family run business with enough options to please anyone. For those wanting an up-scale vacation, they have a series of houses and cabins that range from absolutely luxurious to quaint and comfortable. Our favorite high end rental is Three...
