We bought a Groupon for this hotel and went in early April. It's so close to the El Portal gate, possibly a 10 minute drive at most. The hotel is a bit dated, and the restaurant is not worth going to period,. However the rooms were clean, the spa bath worked perfectly and having a kitchenette is a lovely convenience...

the hotel staff were friendly enough, and the location was great. But the hotel rooms felt dirty, and the decor was very outdated. The room had a musty smell. It was also disappointing that there was no free wifi in this day and age. I probably wouldn't stay there again.

Nice lodge, close enough to the park entrance. Our room had an awesome view of the river, a kitchenette, and a hot tub. The restaurant was good enough and is probably the only one in that area, and there's also a pizza place that has great pizza.

Check in was interesting. Asked for a second key and was told to check back after 7 as that's when they do their key count to see if they have enough keys. Asked about internet and it's $10 a day. But, she tells me as if this is really a great deal, you can connect up to 2 devices for...

Stayed here over Easter weekend. Rooms are more than adequate, quiet, affordable, and clean. The placement by the river is a nice touch. I didn't eat in the restaurant or pizzeria but p.o. assume they are good as well. I'd stay again next visit to Yosemite.

We arrived late and it was raining so we just wanted to get settled and make some grub. As we are checking in my husband asked 'what's are room like?' The guy just said 'it's ok'. I was already unsure about the place due the reviews on TA and my husband asked 'well do you have a better room?' and...

This hotel was in a great location, only 15 minutes from the Yosemite national park entrance. I would rate the hotel 3.5 but the location bumps it up. The rooms are large and comfortable with decent amenities. They could do with updating but overall good. The restaurant is pleasant, all you can eat breakfast and reasonable dinner. I had the...

We were there last year. I notice that they have doubled their prices, which I don't understand why. They need to update their place. A little dark. Location is the only best thing -- very convenient.

Closest place on route 140 before Yosemite West Entrance. Beautiful view of Merced River, but must request river view room. Indoor heated pool & jacuzzi was great for evening fun since April is cold. Very old indoor pool and needs updating. Bring your own towels from room for use after swimming. Beds and cabinets/kitchenette in the room are old and...

In the park or close to the park there isn't a huge amount of choices for lodging. This property has everything you could need or need to make do with during your stay at the park. The beauty is definitely outside of the walls. So... if you don't want to sleep on the ground, go for a walk to use...
