The front desk staff was very rude and never helpful. There was always a backup at the desk and it seemed like we were bothering them every time we had a question or concern. The back porch over the river was BEAUTIFUL though!! Kind of ridiculous that a $500 room doesn't come with free wifi if you ask me. All...

I spent the start of 2017 hiking and photographing the scenes in Yosemite National Park. This hotel is about 5 or 6 miles from the Yosemite valley. My room was quaint and rustic. Came furnished with a Jacuzzi tub with jet, a kitchenette, nice sized bedroom and a second floor balcony which faced the Merced river.

Paid approx $140 dollars a night for a room with two double beds, fireplace and spa tub. Excellent location for visits to Yosemite (approx 4 miles away from park boundary) YARTS bus stop to park just outside motel. Several shared hot tubs, outdoor pools and one indoor pool. Limited food in attached shop, probably due to the winter visit. Excellent...

I was a little worried when I saw some of the negative reviews...but for our family, it worked out really well. First, the location is awesome - it was about a 20-30 min. drive from the Valley to the hotel, which isn't bad. Also, that drive was GORGEOUS! The hotel looks old from the outside, but our River View Room...

Beautiful Yosemite, I want a nice clean hotel. Not $500 dollars a night but $200 is OK. Hotel was full but had issues. I don't complain about being slighted with towels or having my coffee maker broken. But when my sliding glass is has no working lock I got a problem. Told the office about it the first morning and...

Yosemite Valley was full. This is the next closest location. About 20 minutes away without snow. Double that time with snow and ice. Amazing view of the Merced River. Restaurant. Good food. DOG FRIENDLY.

We booked the Yosemite View Lodge because of its great location to Yosemite, and chose a room in the Sequoia Building as the Merced River ran right along the back of this particular building and only a few feet from our balcony. It was a delightful view, with the hills and trees as a backdrop to the river. The good...

We where extremely happy with the location of the stay but as soon as we opened the door happiness turned into shock. The rooms are old and with the place in late December seeming to be booked out, nothing is being put back into the place to keep it some what modern. 1.Beds where hard as the ice just up...

We stayed at this hotel during Christmas 2016. Very serene and beautiful place.. no network connectivity was a plus as we unwired and tuned off from the daily mess into this beautiful meadow overlooking the Merced river. The room was decent, came with all necessary amenities (including a cozy fire place)! Loved the private patio space! The food at the...

We enjoyed our visit to the Yosemite View Lodge and had no issues. The river view was gorgeous and the room looked better than the photos posted on Trip Advisor (we were pleasantly surprised). They only give one key and it is an odd "chip" style key so I can understand why they don't give multiple. We will be back!
