Cedar Lodge--We stayed here one night because it was the closest place to sleep that had availability. It's a clean, but very dated motel. Yes, the employees were quite nice, but when we travel, we don't stay at a place based on nice employees. We had dinner at the on-site restaurant (because it was the only place to eat) and...

The reason to stay here is that it may be the closest hotel to Yosemite Valley that has availability. That's why we were there. It's average at best. Rooms a little tired, but clean. Both indoor and outdoor pools a bit dated, and the hot tub was the same temperature as the pool (would have been nice to have a...

The Cedar Lodge motel is located on the main highway about a 30 minute drive from Yosemite Valley, could not be better located for the casual visitor to view the amazing highlights of Yosemite. Although right on the highway there was very little noise from the road traffic. The motel reception staff were friendly and efficient. The motel was what...

The hotel was close to Yosemite. We were placed into a kitchenette which was really great. We would have brought more food if we would have known. My only minor compliant was the exterior light did not come on. I asked the desk clerk the next morning if someone could fix it. It did not happen.

This motel has many positves. The most important would be proximity to Yosemite. It is about a 25 minute drive. The view when you step out of the room is large mountains with the sound of a mountain stream. The landscaping is nice with large wooden bears and signs that create the feeling of staying in a mountain lodge. Our...

The view they give of the hotel room is not quite what we had (that may be a pic of the luxury suite), but we did stay in a very nice standard room. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean and quiet. No coffee maker in the room, but that's ok, because this means you have to...

Large hotel with about 240 units in multiple buildings. Outside of bldg was nice with updated steel doors and key fobs. Room was very large, was clean, and had a refrigerator. Bathroom was functional but dated. Bed was rock hard. TV was supposed to get about 12 English speeking channels but only about 8 worked and 2 of the major...

Took the family and mom for three days to see Yosemite. We had two junior suites. They worked great. Put the two oldest teens in the bedroom while me and the youngest took the Murphy bed. Mom, wife and other kid in the other suite. We had tons of room. The parking was a few feet outside our door. Swam...

This was a reasonable hotel which was about 20/30 minutes from the Yosemite Valley floor. It is not in a town so you are pretty limited for eating/drinking to the hotel itself. When we were there, only the bar/diner was serving food; the main restaurant was closed for another week or so; the food was fine but mostly fried, but...
