Very nice clean hotel! High security so we felt safe during the entire stay. Restaurants and a gas station are within walking distance. Hotel employees were very friendly and helpful. Bar was closed due to COVID.

This was my 7th night in 7 different Marriott properties in 7 days. My third one in California. It was not a pleasant experience. The front door was locked and I was told I could not check-in until 3:00 PM. Though they were gracious enough to allow me to use the bathroom. In the previous 6 days this didn’t happen. Being on motorcycle and not wanting to ride into the city, I sat outside the hotel for about an hour and a half. As a Marriott Platinum Elite guest, I am not accustomed to being left in a parking lot feeling like a hobo. Once I was able to check-in, I received a room that was the exact opposite of my Marriott profile. My profile lists requests for a high floor away from the elevator. I received a very low floor, third I believe, across from the elevator. Upon entry the room smelled musty and looked dated. There was only one outlet at the desk. I searched for others but found only one. Rather difficult to charge a phone and run a laptop at the same time. There was a single plastic cup and a single bottle of water. Overall, the room had a depressing feel. The location was good for access to the highway (84) and parking was free, other than that there isn’t much else positive to be said.

Greetings DMSMD64, thank you for your most recent stay at the Four Points in Emeryville. We are delighted to have hosted your visit to the Bay Area. During the pandemic, our hotel has taken measures to aid in the prevention of COVID19 for our guests and staff. We understand that many of the precautions taken here may be different than other counties and may seem extreme. We apologize for how our extra precautions were perceived. With that, we are adhering to the Marriott cleanliness standards of leaving guest rooms vacant for 24-48 hours between each guests. This can be challenging given the requests of many of our valued Bonvoy members, such as yourself. We can certainly promise we are doing everything in our power to keep cleanliness standards un-compromised during this very stressful and uncertain time for many. Unfortunately, this may mean certain requests or preferences go unmet and for that; we're sorry. We truly appreciate your feedback and your willingness to share your experiences at the hotel. Know that your feedback is shared with our members and used as a way for us to improve guest experiences. Thank you again for the feedback and your candidness; safe travels for the remainder of the year.

The absolute worst Marriott stay i have ever had. Check in was horrible. Even though COVID is an issue, we couldn't even get inside the hotel to check in although we had reservations. Once we fought our way in, check in staff was rude. Got a balcony room and it was a waste. Couldn't really see the bay as well as the traffic is extremely loud. The television didn't work well not to mention it didn't have Netflix like most other hotels now have. So we were stuck with 6 channels. The fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy as well as mold on the wall. And while sitting on the balcony there were sheets hanging from the balcony above me. Will NEVER stay again. Equivalent to motel 6

Greetings Inharris053, thank you for your recent feedback of your stay in Emeryville. We appreciate your willingness to share your overall experience. With the global pandemic our location is doing its part to aid in the health and safety of our guests. It is for this reason our doors remain closed until a reservation is verified. This is a small step to help aid in the end of the corona virus and we're happy to add this procedure to our list of safety measures. Regarding the items mentioned with the balcony or tv options, we're sorry to hear neither met your needs during your stay. Rest assured we will use your feedback as a tool to share with our hotel team on stays we can improve on. We appreciate the time and willingness to share. We wish you all the best during your future travel plans!

Right across from retail and restaurants. Great parking and easy freeway access. Rooms with even numbers and high will have San Francisco and water views, Other side is looking at the hills.. I’ve had probably 20 stays here.

Hi Nathan, Thank you so much for your stay and feedback. Did you know we're still the only hotel offering free parking in Emeryville? Our large lot style parking option is great for those wanting to save everyday! Wishing you the best summer, take care!

This is an older hotel and isn’t in great shape. Worse, the “bay view” rooms also face the highway and you hear traffic all night. The window would not fully close so you get a real city experience. No bar to food on Sunday nights. If you put out the “don’t clean my room and save the environment card” you get a useless $5 daily credit and ZERO attention to your room. Had to beg for more coffee for my room after two nights. Skip this place and stay at the Hilton Garden Inn across the way. Also didn’t any one mention the homeless problem is this city? Good grief people.

Thank you for your recent review D6428RQdaveb. We appreciate your feedback regarding your stay and the experiences you had at the property. Our location is more central than seaside, which sounds like it was not as expected for what you were hoping- for that we apologize. More information on our Cafe and bar hours can be found on our website; hopefully an available local option was found. We do have amazing, award winning eateries, restaurants and bars within walking distance. From your review, it sounds like you were able to enjoy the "Make a Green Choice"; great! Did you know Marriott is committed to eliminating waste? While we strive to ensure each guests is satisfied during their stay, we also understand that the "Make a Green Choice" program may leave some feeling like they did not get the expected service or attention. The program is optional and can be tailored to you! Simply let our team know what you'd like and we will strive to make an accommodation that works. Despite the hotel offering additional security for an added measure; homelessness in the San Francisco Bay Area is a regional challenge. We fully engage with our local city and county leaders to try and find solutions between an ideal traveler experience and the epidemic that seems to be taking over the area. We appreciate your willingness to share what you experienced in Emeryville specifically. While we understand that our location, onsite food choices and eco friendly service options may not be an ideal fit for your future stays, we hope to have an opportunity to host your next trip to show that we are a dedicated team that has the guest's whole stay in mind. Safe travels to you,
