Just returned from a 9 night holiday and I’m so glad we chose the Daniel Apartments.
Under the current climate I had probably more questions to ask before we arrived than usually but all we responded by email extremely quickly. As it was my wife’s 40th while we were out there I requested a high floor room with a sea view which in room 407 we got, immaculate with everything you need for a self sufficient stay in lindos / kalathos if that’s what you want.
Hotel seemed very quiet with no UK guests and the pool was virtually ours all holiday which suited us fine.
All in all an enjoyable stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook again in the future.

Modern, spacious Apartments, fabulous pool, well located, stunning sunrise views. The beach is a 10 mins walk, two loungers 10 euros for the day. Easy public bus transport to Linda’s, 10 mins, well worth a visit, Rhodes town 45 mins. When we used the pool we were frequently the only ones using it.

We stayed here for a week in a 1 bed apartment. The apartment was very spacious and had all the amenities you would need for a holiday. The pool is beautiful and you get the sun all day.
The staff are beyond helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and they are constantly on hand if you need anything.
This is a gem of a hotel and we will definitely come back. Thank you for a wonderful week

We had a friendly welcome, and we're shown to our apartment. The cleaner was just finishing mopping the floors. The apartment was very large,2 bedrooms,2 bathrooms,3 balcony and modern. However on closer inspection, it was only the floors, and bedding and towels that had been cleaned . Long hair was stuck to the shower cubicle and around the tap , back of the toilet,hadn't been wiped,neither the cupboard,still covered in soap scum from the last tennants . Crumbs in the toaster you get the gist. It felt like a soulless,residential block of flats.
We were just disappointed as not at all like it was advertised. We left after the first night,and got part refund which we appreciated.

Its really unbelievable the way that the staff and the owner (Stergos) makes you feel: Like home!
It’s a recently renovated complex of apartments near a beautiful beach and close to Lindos. The apartments are well equipped with everything you need. In my opinion is the one of the best places to stay for exploring the South part of the island.

We stayed here again recently after previously visiting 5 years ago and have booked to return next year. The apartment we stayed in with my elderly father was the perfect base from which to explore this beautiful island, to chill and relax at the apartment or sunbathe by the excellent pool. The apartment was spacious and well equipped with a nearby supermarket a 5 minute drive away. Stergos was the perfect host and we cannot wait to return next year.
The hotel is perfectly situated in Kalathos, which has many small family owned restaurants and a beautiful quiet shingle beach.

Lovely staff and owners. Short walk to the beach but five minute taxi ride to Lindos. Lindos is a lovely little town, Plenty of eateries and stuff to do. Lovely beach. Daniel Apartments though are just the best quality rooms you'll find on the island

Having this last minute trip to Rhodos, I was picturing sun, sea, comfort and privacy. To my delight, I have got exactly what I had in mind thanks to the perfect accomodation in Kalathos in Daniel Luxury Apartments. The apartments featured on the website look exactly as they are in a real life: new, spaceious, equipped, with a clean minimalistic design, totally functional. I had 1-bedroom apartment nr. 205 and can heartly recommend it for single traveller like me or a small family. It had a big bedroom with tv and storage, large living room with kitchen, tv, two balconies, sea and pool view. A-M-A-I-Z-I-N-G! The apartment is located in a small quiet place Kalathos near villages Lindos and Lardos, cozy beautiful places yet unspoiled by tourists. The trip from the airport to Kalathos takes about 45 minutes or 60€ with taxi, so I recommend to order a rental before your arrival. I book mine with rodoscars.gr 12 hours before arrival and I had my car successfully handed to me at the airport. I payed 20€ per day all insurance included for Suzuki Alto with air con, which was great for this trip. It is very easy to find Daniel apartments as it is on the main road next to the Eko gas station on your left. Beautiful Kalathos beach is 5-10 minutes walk away from the apartments, I prefered to drive. Lots to see in the area if you like, some of my favorite places are Tsampika beach, Lardos, Lindos and St. Paul's Bay, Monolithos. Nothing is too much for the charizmatic and very helpful owner Stergos, just ask him anything and he will deliver it to your doorstep. I enjoyed my stay a lot and I will be back again soon. Pros
-24 hour reception perfect for arriving after midnight like we did.
-The double bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms suites us. It was huge and me and my gf could shower simultaneously in each of the bathrooms if we wanted.
-Lots of hot water in the shower never seemed to run out!
-It was cleaned everyday when we were out so didn't have to do anything ourselves.
-A big supermarket is 700m away - we stocked up on breakfast food. They had PG tips which was the best thing ever.
-A bakery 10m away - we had some lovely cheese pastries in the mornings.
-Easy to find the apartment if driving
from the airport. It's on the main road on the left, next to an EKO petrol station. There are cheaper petrol stations though off the main rhode especially ones with a supermarket attached so use those for refuelling. Filling up our 4x4 Suzuki Jimmy costed €60 and you can pay by card.
-Free street parking is available.
Just 7 mins drive to lindos, 12 to Pefkos and about 40 mins to Rhodes town.
-There is a bus service which runs regularly to all the main towns.
-A private pool is available for a few laps in the morning
-The owner was very helpful and gave us tips on where to travel and what to experience in Rhodes
-Very modern, lots of electrical gadgets and mod cons most of which we never used but it was lovely to have them anyway.
Cons
- Although there is a bus service I would say for a hassle free time you should consider having a car if you stay here

- One of the most beautiful apartments I have ever stayed at.
-Would gladly choose again if staying in Rhodes.

We stayed here several years ago and my husband always wanted to return as it is a very peaceful area with a short pleasent walk to the beach, he could never find it but this year we found out why, the hotel/apartments had been closed and refurbished. It is absolutley wonderful. The apartments have been altered to a very high standard everything is excellent and Stergos and his family are so welcoming and helpful.
We were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment which was fully airconditioned with a shower room and a bathroom. the kitchen has everything you need including dishwasher and washing machine. What you see in the adverts is what you get and the pool if fantastic. As it is the end of the season Stergos is completeing further improvement which are to include a childrens play area.
There are plenty of bar/ resturants nearby and a supermarket which is a 5 minute walk away with a superb cafe beside it.
There is a great greek takeaway across the road from the apartment also a bakery and the food is excellent. The people are very friendly.
We will certainly be going back and wishStergos and his family good luck with all they do.

I think all room are on first and second floors. A lift is available. Contact the owner they are really helpful.
End of October is the beginning of autumn in Greece. Not the right time anymore for swimming or sunbathing. Almost all the hotels will be close at that time, as well the touristic places.

We are at the daniel from july 23rd for two weeks. I have stayed before and you wont be dissapointed as the apartments are excellent and have more than you will need, a real home from home. I have a son aged 6 who is staying with us and he loves it there.
Great location as only 5 minute drive to Lindos and on the main bus route.
Ive been going to Rhodes for 20 years and stayed in Kalathos for many of them so guess I will see you there.
