This was an overnight stop for us as we we driving from Florence to Napa. Old fashioned hotel in Tudor style. Larger than one thinks. Nice fireplace in the lobby. Parking is around back and across the street but not inconvenient. Room was small but comfy. TV was a flatscreen. Breakfast is very basic continental. And no coffee in the...

What a wonderful hotel! We had such a great time staying at the Eureka Inn. The hotel has a wonderful Old World charm. The lobby is beautiful and we spent a lot of time sitting by the roaring fire, enjoying the ambiance. The room was clean and cozy and the beds were ridiculously comfortable with fluffy pillows and crisp white...

I chose this inn for a more historical feel of Eureka but I think I would have been better at a Best Western. The service wasn't very good and it wasn't until I arrived that I was informed of a $100 deposit fee. This was an unexpected expense. During my stay the elevator was broken most of the time so...

On Nov 19th, my friends and I reserved a room here in celebration of my birthday. Unfortunately while returning to our room we were approached by a gunman and I was robbed, my purse was taken. The police and the rest of us gathered in the lobby while we gave our statements and waited for husbands to pick us up....

Quirky, mellow location in old town Eureka. Prices have been very good for the rooms I have stayed in and I love the historic nature of the location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I enjoy staying here when I'm in the area.

I have so much emotion tied up in this review. I really hope the owner of this building will read this review and take it to heart in a positive way. Firstly, the building itself is THE reason I came to stay here. As a comfortable place to spend the night-- no complaints. It is a great room with a...

This is an awesome hotel. It is a budget hotel but you can't tell it when you walk into the room it is sparkling clean and everything is new: bed, comforter, heater, pillows and lighting!!! The breakfast was good; they had real milk, orange juice, bagels, cereal, Quaker oatmeal, coffee jelly, cream cheese, tea and donuts. It is more than...

This place is billed as an historic building, which it may well be, but it is also dingy and unwelcoming. We only met two members of staff, both of whom worked at reception. They lacked any obvious charm and clearly found it beyond themselves to offer any kind of welcome to guests staying at the hotel. One of them even...

Built in the early 1920s you can see how it reached the peak of its heyday in 20s and 30s. So much so that it has hardly changed since! It does belong to a former age and indeed feels like you are walking in to a living museum! Even the windows seem hardly to have been touched since then! Anyway...
