Hotel's Favourite
Hotel was conveniently located 30 minutes from Napa with an abundance of nearby dining options. The room was clean, comfortable, with good water pressure for the showers! I want to compliment the Night Desk Agent with the red hair that works nights on her professional demeanor. She was on point and very helpful with our check-in and application of a Hilton Credit Card. I would stay here again if visiting Napa.

The room was spacious and clean. Everything as you would expect. We were a little surprised that they don't do room service everyday, just every other day unless you say something in advance.
We went to eat at the restaurant in the lobby downstairs and was turned away because we were half an hour before closing, but the shift manager intervened quickly and then reminded the staff. Very thankful for that woman, she ensured that the staff was very attentive. I was surprised that the food would be as good as it was as most hotels aren't that way anymore.
All in all a good experience. One note, the area can have some creepy people around at night so park accordingly and if you're out at night and keep an eye behind your back...

Service and bed could not be better. Only complaint I have was I was put in a room facing the Interstate and the HVAC units do not have continuous fan. I got in after a 22 hour travel nightmare day and could not sleep due to the noise at all. They were sold out and could not move me so I went to my rental SUV and slept in the back with seats down. They moved me to an interior room for the remainder of my stay and it was great. Everything was so good that despite the first night experience I still give them 5 stars. I do wish the rooms had continuous fan but a breakfast wait staff person gave me a good tip - use your phone and pick any “white noise” you want. Breakfast is made to order and includes coffee and juice - for only $10.00. They are multiple restaurants foot steps away including Jonny Carino’s Italian which had the best food I have eaten in years. The staff is amazing and will do pretty much anything and everything to accommodate you. After 22 hours of being treated like crap by American Airlines and Airport mask rules it was a welcome surprise. I am a weekly traveler for many years and I usually don’t comment but there is nothing like the staff here in the “new travel reality” world. While I will definitely change Airlines I will never change from Hilton. My most important criteria is a comfortable bed and this place has them. I will definitely stay here every time I am in this area, even if I have to drive an hour to get here.

In Fairfield California you must request housekeeping or don't receive any at all, they do not offer room service, and on Sundays from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. there's no food available at the restaurant whatsoever. In the rooms the toilet does not flush consistently and maybe only flushes correctly once out of every fourth try. The room is good size, the king size bed is of good quality and was comfortable.

Hilton Hotel used to be a great place to stay. Their service has gone so far downhill that it’s jaw-dropping.
Called the front deskyou can’t even make a reservation and there’s no one there to answer it and it tells you the voicemail is full. You press extension four to talk to administration but that’s not a valid extension. After weeks of talking to corporate and calling Fairfield Garden Inn in California to reimburse me for the night I did not stay, I finally got catering to answer the phone. Even corporate left messages for Eric to call me back and he never has.Only department who actually answers the phone is catering, every other departments mailbox is full and they don’t answer the phone. I’m starting to think that this is just a mob laundering franchise since they can’t be taking in money since they won’t answer their phone to make reservations. I went to the hotel and turned around and decided not to stay because of the room that they were charging me $162 for was nasty. It was old and the enamel on the bottom of the tub was missing and they didn’t offer the amenities that they listed on their website that I was paying for. I had a Hilton person book the reservation for me looking for particular amenities. They still have not reimbursed me nor answered the phone nor have called me back. My address is Colorado so I think they feel like they can just blow me off. What they don’t know is I live up the street in Winters and I’m about to make a sign warning people to not go there. I’m assuming if I walk back-and-forth in front of their building with a sign talking about how they are not a reputable business they may come talk to me then, but only then. The only time I’ve got a front desk person they immediately ask if they can put me on hold and I hang up after them not coming back on the line for 40 minutes. This is happened three times now and that’s if I can get through for them to put me on hold. I have spoken to corporate and they have asked them to call me and have approved my reimbursement but the hotel has not sent it to me.
Eric, the front desk manager only works weekends. That should tell you how busy they are but they do not have the time to return the phone call, answer the phone, or give guest service any attention at all. I stopped using the Hilton along time ago because that company has fallen so far below expectations but I thought I’d try again. They’re even worse than they were when I stopped using them the first time!
Do yourself a favor, stay anywhere but there!

Ac was blasted after 10 minutes room was freezing. As soon as turned off room was warm and stuffy. Blankets in duvet cover were too warm to sleep under. Just a sheet option would have helped or just a fan only option would also have helped. AC way too loud.

Since a King room was not available, we opted for a junior suite. Some cons: The room was awkward and not appropriately decorated (big space in between window and bed. Perhaps including a coffee table or other lounge chair to fill the room may be what the room needs. The tv was far away from the bed (centered closer to loveseat) and bathtub was small. Maybe also adding extra bottle of shampoo and conditioner for 2 adult guests. Walls were very thin- could hear running upstairs in the halls. Hall to our room and next to elevator smelled of cigarettes and dirty socks. Pros: parking was convenient, staff were friendly, breakfast buffet was good and hotel was surrounded by restaurants/eateries (walking distance). Coffee was available 24:7 in lobby which was a nice touch. We only stayed for one night as it was somewhat convenient to our final destination. Room was a bit overpriced but we saved a few $ on adding breakfast to our room, as opposed to paying for breakfast separately. Probably won’t stay here again.

The smell of pot was in our room when we walked in. It was obvious the staff was aware of it since they had the windows open and fans were on. We requested a change of room right away and it was granted, we moved to 4th floor and there wasn’t any odor . We were tucked in bed at 10:00 and smell was back, we out towels under the door but it didn’t help. We called and complained and told them we want to check out. The staff was aware of the problem but they said they couldn’t do anything. The staff was accommodating when we told them we were leaving. We weren’t charged for the night.

I am a longtime Hilton fan and this was the worst property that I have stayed at. The property needs a thorough cleaning and to replace dirty, threadbare furniture. I realize that times are tough but this is when the organization needs to be better not worse.

The only negative thing I will say is that I wish they would have a complimentary or discounted breakfast, that’s the only reason for my review being very good instead of excellent. I understand the room rates would be a little higher with breakfast included but when you are on a budget of sorts and it’s a difference of going to a nice sit down restaurant and paying less then the hotel charges for breakfast. Overall I am always thankful for the staff who are always nice and accommodating and for the nice rooms for a great price!

The breakfast at our hotel is not complimentary but it is very good. It is an all-you-can-eat, cooked-to-order buffet that stays open until 11:00 am each morning. It is $12.95 + tax for the full buffet, though if you are a gold or diamond HHonors member, it can be made complimentary each and every visit. For more information on our restaurant, please search for Ahi's Seafood and Chophouse.
