The Tenya Lodge is in a beautiful location and it is a family oriented hotel with lots of in-house activities for the entire family. There are restaurants on site that have high quality food and snacks, although a little pricey. The accommodations have everything you need, but the sound proofing in the between rooms can be a problem. The bed...

We did a quick boys trip out to Yosemite and the Tenaya lodge was perfect. The staff were very friendly. It was a cold night & they had a warm fire going in the entrance + lobby. They had a warm pool + Jaccuzi which was a big plus. Had a quick swim in the morning before heading out. They had a...

We used a Travelzoo coupon to spend a night at the lodge with some friends. The coupon included an activity and we chose the night flashlight hike. There seemed to be confusion about the start time and he was less than amenable. We went to have pizza after the hike, nice friendly place and great pizza. We thought we'd get...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was short but very enjoyable. We traveled off season in Chinese New Year so the hotel was quiet which was nice. The breakfast was very sizable and we concluded we could have shared one omelette for three people. The bar and restaurant closed relatively early by about 10, so sadly we didnt get a...

We had investigated thoroughly and we had been looking forward to the stay at Tenaya Lodge. But we experienced a lot of problems and disappointment. We were in the east wing. Smelly dark entrance. Seemed old So much noise from the other rooms Walls were paper thin. Could hear snorring and talk, laughter, walking etc from neighbours When the others...

Dear sojumola, Thank you for your comments. I am very sorry for the disappointing stay you experienced recently. The pool situation was addressed on Monday and will continue to be assessed during high levels of occupancy. I spoke to the manager of the department for the pool area. She informed me that the door to the pool is locked so...

We stayed in one of the pet friendly cottages during the winter. We enjoyed the fireplace and restaurants nearby. The lodge is near Yosemite about 40 minutes from the Yosemite Valley loop. Great staff, good food and nice gym/spa areas. A family and pet friendly place :)

So, it was august, very expensive and crowded. height of the tourist season so that is a given i guess. Hot tub water was greenish-brown and pool was freezing. We did enjoy the climbing wall event for an extra fee.

A wonderful experience with a huge crackling fire in a stone fireplace in the lobby, contrasted with the backdrop of the floor to ceiling windows displaying the glistening snow outside. Comfortable, clean and spacious rooms for a reasonable price. Good food and a great little cafe.

We've always liked to stay here because the restaurants were OK, it was easy to get reservations, and it was convenient for x-country skiing at Badger Pass and the Mariposa Redwood Grove. It never was perfect, though. The downside is that it really is a corporate entity. Though the staff is courteous and helpful, even very professional at times (e.g.,...
