It's located on top of the hills called Berjaya Hills and is quite a long way deep in the forest so you can enjoy the view to and from this place. Entrance fee is RM 13 per person. It's on a hills so it can get quite cold which add a lovely ambience at Colmar. You'll see swans at the...

This time i brought along the whole clan to celebrate our birthdays. Upon registration we found out that one of the 2 bedroom suite was located in a non-functional lift building. We requested a different room and was given an upgraded room- deluxe 2 storey 2 bedroom suite! Everything was ok..the young people in my family enjoyed the Japenese garden,...

I stay here for a night and it is a pleasant stay i can say. The hotel is so comfortable and nice. During the day we can enjoy some live performances, visiting the japan house or walk around and enjoying the British-style view, but during the night after 10 pm, the place is too quite. The shop also closed at...

Wonderful stay with nature hill view. Feels like at European country. Great theme park marvellous activities to join. Great place for newly wed. Somehow, the variety of foods are limited. They serve western food at most of the stall. Only at breakfast you can find nasi lemak and mee goreng. Limited activities at night. You may stay at your room...

Its on top of a hill, so generally its more chilly. Its a nice place when you dont have money to travel to France HAHA. I expected it to be quite big. But the whole area is around the size of 4 football fields only. Nevertheless, day trip would be the better option. Since the hotels here are kinda overpriced.

Located in the Berajaya Hills this is cooler and quieter than the city. The medieval look is great but the quaintness is disrupted by the Malaysian staff whose fake attitude is disappointing. Overall the rooms are 'ok' the restaurants 'ok' but not good value for money There are adventure parks and Tea gardens to explore which is enjoyable.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Colmar Tropicale was modeled after 16th century Colmar town, north east of Alsace, France, also incorporatingarchitectural designs and elements from ancient surrounding villages of Riquewihr, Turckheim and Kaysersberg. The realization of this French themed village derived from the wish list of the Malaysia's fourth Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad, who upon his visit to the region of Alsace were so impressed, that it inspired Tan Sri Vincent Tan, the founder of Berjaya Corporation Berhad to replicate the actual Colmar town in Malaysia. The resort comprised of 235 rooms and suites, offers 8 food & beverage outlets / lounges with food variety ranging from local & international cuisine to an authentic French fine dining restaurant. It also offers meeting rooms and banqueting facilities. ... more   less
