The Weller House is a quiet bed & breakfast located in Fort Bragg, CA. If you want to find a great place to stay that is close to downtown and the beach, this is it. It has 8 or 9 rooms so you don't have to worry about it being like many noise-filled hotels. Aside from being a documented historic...

When I had a change of plans after the temporary closure of the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, I was initially disappointed but soon cheered up when I discovered Weller House in Fort Bragg. I enjoyed the drive up the Mendocino Coast which was absolutely stunning. I could have stopped every few minutes to take in the view. Fort Bragg...

What a fun trip to Fort Bragg for some whale watching and to see the Glass Beach. The Skunk train heads out once or twice a day and is just about a block from the inn. The Glass Beach is an easy walk down the street and has a lot of bluffs for watching the whales traveling along the coast....

Very comfortable and quiet. Loved talking with Vivien, a most interesting inn keeper. She had great resources for eating, hiking, history of the house and town interesting. She loves her job, clearly!

he Weller House Inn is a gorgeous 1886 historic house, full of history, with beautiful rooms, a ball room, a library, and a water tower with stunning views. It's a 3 minutes walking distance from the ocean, and close to shops and restaurants of Fort Bragg. If you decide to stay in Fort Bragg, this is where you should stay,...

I had the Midsummer room which faces South and gets the first sun in the morning. I loved when the sunlight poured into the room. House is very quiet. Got the rest I needed. I like socializing in the morning with the other guests over breakfast in the cozy dining room. Its easy from the Inn to stroll into town...

I cannot say enough about the Weller House Inn! As soon as my friend and I stepped into the foyer it was obvious to us that we were going to be well taken care of during our stay. Viviane, our host, gave us a very warm welcome and upgraded our room to the tulip room. Our room had two comfortable...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Weller House Inn. Vivien made us feel very welcome, and treated us more like visiting friends than paying customers. Our room was charming, with a 4 poster bed and colorful walls. We had a private bath with Jacuzzi, and the radiant floor heating meant that our toes were never cold, even in cold,...

Welcoming, relaxing, and fun. I am here for a dance weekend--came for the Tango but was also got the chance to try East Coast Swing. I absolutely adore this place. Thank you Vivian, for all that you do to create this comfortable home away from home.

Staying in the Weller House Inn so near to Glass Beach, good restaurants and a thriving downtown Fort Bragg, CA, was such a treat! Innkeeper, Vivian, made our stay comfortable and enjoyable: from the turn of the last century furnishings to the lovely garden, we returned 'home' each evening to a warm welcome after a day of whale watching, botanical...
