We stayed here at another suite, Zen suite by creek side, for this winter. Amazingly, the receptionist could recognize us at the first sight, feeling like going back home. The room is spacious, offering creek and woods view from the open patio. There's a zen garden in the middle of the room, giving visitors a relaxing view while taking a...

We spent two incredible nights in the Zen suite with Zen gardens and it surpassed our expectations. Incredible detail and care evident throughout. Friendly staff and great morning brunch. This is the third Sisters hotel I have stayed in and they never disappoint! Definitely check out Jack London State Park...it is so much more than I imagined. A man with...

Stayed at Gaige House for 3 nights with my husband. We loved everything about it. The hospitality (daily evening wine/cheese tasting to meet other guests), staff (everyone was so welcoming and friendly), location (short drive to Sonoma and walking distance to a few restaurants including Fig Cafe and Glen Ellen Star). The inn was in a central location to explore...

Found this on Bookings.com and we couldn't resist booking the Zen Suite - wow! It was exactly what the doctor ordered. Pleasant staff, beautiful grounds, clean swimming pool and AMAZING food. Really enjoyed the on premise wine tasting event with snacks. A local winery (cannot remember the name) poured organically grown grapes.

As a century home Gaige house is well settled into the leafy village of Glen Ellen in the Sonoma valley. the rooms are excellently appointed and the service warm and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and offered good, home-cooked servings. I would stay here again and again.

We loved this Inn so much we didn't want to leave. Our Zen suite was quiet, comfy, and warm thanks to the gas fireplace and bathroom heater. The breakfasts were home cooked and delicious and included 2 new hot options everyday and fresh baked goods and cookies. Local winemakers share their wines every evening at the complimentary wine tastings and...

We stayed at the Gaige house for a weekend- the two of us and my cousin (2 rooms- both Zen Suites). The rooms are beautiful, relaxing retreats from the modern world. Bedroom and bathroom are very spacious- bathtub is enormous- easily accommodating two for soaking. There were two little Zen Gardens off of our bedroom and between the bed and...

This is a classy quaint B&B with rooms in the main building a nice cottage type outer buildings with fireplaces. Great breakfast in the AM and wine and snacks in the evenings. Our only suggestion would be for them to start breakfast a little earlier than 8AM.

This is a lovely place to spend a few nights while you are exploring Sonoma. The breakfast every morning is delicious, everything is home made. There is a wine tasting cocktail hour every night from 5-6 with different vineyards presenting their wines. It is always fun to talk to the representatives and hear about their product. It also allows you...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Tucked into the Sonoma Valley hamlet of Glen Ellen, the Gaige House feels like a secret hideaway. Of course, it's not really a secret; the Gaige House is regularly recommended in Michelin and other guides, and has been listed repeatedly in Conde Nast Traveler's Gold List of the top hotels in the world. Gaige House is part of the prestigious Four Sisters Inns collection and is an elegant blend of vintage and contemporary architecture. The inn features 23 thoughtfully appointed guestrooms with a modern, Asian flair. The verdant, secluded setting along Calabaza's Creek includes an outdoor swimming pool and hot tub, and is accented with delightful surprises in hidden spots: a hammock shaded with ancient oaks, a miniature pagoda in a rock garden, a gurgling fountain. After a day of visiting nearby wineries, boutiques and art galleries, return to the Gaige House to indulge in luxurious spa services provided either in-room, or outdoors in a peaceful and private cabana. All guests enjoy a complimentary, full breakfast every morning, and an afternoon wine and cheese reception. ... more   less
