Stayed in this hotel for two nights just looking to relax and have a peaceful and quiet time. I had the best massage ever. Amazing bed. Delicious breakfast. Great service. Would come back for sure. Of course homemade cookies always available and very very good and really appreciate the wine tasting.

This was my second visit at Gaige House. Beautiful in every way (breakfast is delightful), but you might consider a step stool for the side of the ginormous, decadent 4-poster bed in the poolside suite! I had to pole vault up onto it! But that was a small matter, compared to how fantastic the overall stay was...

We had a very pleasant visit which we hope to repeat in the future. The staff were very helpful and professional. The inclusion of a DVD player and a library of films was most welcome. We enjoyed breakfast and the snacks provided on arrival. We found the location very good too.

The Gaige House has a great location, away from the hustle and bustle of wine country, but not off the beaten path. It's super close to a ton of wineries and restaurants in/around Glen Ellen. The room was cozy and the bed was very comfortable. We really appreciated the B&B feel/experience - homemade cookies, attentive, knowledgeable staff, tasty breakfasts, etc....

A beautiful, peaceful respite in a perfect location. Gaige House was our favorite hotel during our 4 day stay in the Sonoma area. We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. After staying in a not-so-great hotel in Calistoga, we appreciated how truly unique and wonderful the Gaige House is. We had a creek-side room and...

Most beautiful and cozy room to date! The service was welcoming and it felt like conversation with friends. They knew the area and beyond and therefore full of recommendations. Glen Allen is a beautiful, sleepy town and I hope it never changes. I WILL be back!

Enjoyed staying at this wonderful hotel. Very secluded, quiet and private. Breakfast was delicious. There are restaurants within walking distance and wineries in the vicinity. It was by far the most reasonably priced hotel in the Sonoma Valley.

My wife and I spent one night at Gaige House during a three-night trip to Sonoma and Napa in mid-October. A very good deal through Jetsetter was enhanced hugely by an unexpected upgrade to the Gaige Suite, a very large and beautifully appointed room with a rather spectacular bathroom and large private porch. The breakfast offered limited selection but was...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Tucked into the Sonoma Valley hamlet of Glen Ellen, the Gaige House feels like a secret hideaway. Of course, it's not really a secret; the Gaige House is regularly recommended in Michelin and other guides, and has been listed repeatedly in Conde Nast Traveler's Gold List of the top hotels in the world. Gaige House is part of the prestigious Four Sisters Inns collection and is an elegant blend of vintage and contemporary architecture. The inn features 23 thoughtfully appointed guestrooms with a modern, Asian flair. The verdant, secluded setting along Calabaza's Creek includes an outdoor swimming pool and hot tub, and is accented with delightful surprises in hidden spots: a hammock shaded with ancient oaks, a miniature pagoda in a rock garden, a gurgling fountain. After a day of visiting nearby wineries, boutiques and art galleries, return to the Gaige House to indulge in luxurious spa services provided either in-room, or outdoors in a peaceful and private cabana. All guests enjoy a complimentary, full breakfast every morning, and an afternoon wine and cheese reception. ... more   less
