The rooms were comfortable and quiet. I felt safe parking my car there compared to other hotels in the SB area. I also appreciate that they do not charge for parking. The staff is very kind and their manager Misha is friendly and responsive to guests. As people who visit SB know many hotels are actually more of a motel. This place is a legit hotel and feels like it, which I appreciate as a guest.

I stayed at this hotel over Christmas 2019, as I was celebrating with family in the area. It's a very clean and nice hotel with wonderful staff. It's also close to UCSB, the SBA Airport, and the city of Goleta - making commuting around very convenient. If you're familiar with Hampton Inn Hotels, you'll find this one to be extremely consistent and it won't let you down. If you're not familiar with Hampton Inn Hotels, you'll still find that this top notch facility provides you everything you need (especially a clean, quiet room with free WiFi) at a price cheaper than the comparable Marriott family hotels. There are some other budget hotels closeby, but this place is well worth the extra expense.

We had necessary work in the area just as things were shutting down statewide, and the staff had already begun health and safety measures regarding cleaning, guest service and the all-important breakfast-- my stay was still very comfortable and relaxing. There was a "reduced staff visibility" but still thorough cleanliness. The breakfast environment felt clean and safe, not uncomfortable, despite the presence of other guests.
There was also a great variety of shopping, services, and restaurant fare within minutes of the hotel.

Not user friendly if handicapped, bare minimum in amenities ie no water glasses, few electric outlets, no cabinets, one shampoo bottle for two people for four days , no one even emptied the trash for four day’s. Told there was a two hundred dollar additional charge that would be refunded if we did not damage the room or ask for anything additional. Handicap rooms were located as far away from the elevators as possible and show was a regular tub with bars not a walk in shower. Some of the staff was very helpful and others totally ignored you. Worst experience at s Hampton Inn ever!!!

Booked two rooms for a weekend trip to Santa Barbara. Clean rooms, prompt replacement of towels when requested and a variety of typical Hampton Inn breakfast items available for pick up. Easy to get back and forth to Santa Barbara for site seeing and staff gave me some helpful suggestions on what to do in Goleta. Five star rating is because of the way the evening staff handled an issue I had with one of the rooms- very apologetic and it was quickly resolved to my satisfaction.

I had read that front desk people were not friendly/ welcoming / not helpful. That is exactly what I found when my husband and I checked in. As Hilton Honors Silver members we were not even offered bottled water when we checked in.
Our room was ok- just ok. There was rust running from the handrail in the shower. The bath counter had bad caulk job. The carpet in the hall had gaps between the carpet pieces. The lobby looked fine but upstairs needed updating - better maintenance. The bed was comfortable but the the sheets did not fit the bed and kept pulling out - had to keep tucking back in. The mattress pad and sheets were Not for a thicker mattress.
This was very unpleasant to have to keep touching the mattress.
In our room we could hear a constant hum of some type of motor below.
The one positive thing was the breakfast was decent.
This was way over priced at about $285/night.
The area right around the hotel is not the greatest.
There are better hotel options just down the road.
I will definitely skip this hotel next time I am in this area!

Two of three days, the hot water stopped being hot. Staff suggested odd explanations such as too many people getting ready for dinner at 4:30 in the afternoon. No good explanation and no maintenance staff available in the weekend! Staff did not answer the phones at the front desk and provided misinformation about other guests experiencing this problem. One guest who overheard our discussion with the front desk acknowledged having overheard our discussion acknowledged having had the same problem. Further, the hot breakfast was horribly over cooked and tasteless. Obvious quality management problems. Hotel was clean for the most part. Reduced staffing was apparent when spills etc weren’t cleaned ina timely fashion.

We stayed here one night.
They are very Covid-conscious, I will say the room was clean. Refrigerator stopped working in the middle of the night, over $20 in snacks ruined. Told the front desk, was told they’d take money off my bill. Didn’t see that.
It’s a nice location in proximity to the beach and UCSB.
No breakfast provided, so I had rotten food and nothing provided. I stayed at a couple of other Hilton brand hotels on our trip that at least gave us a brown bag of a breakfast, but not this location.
I was disappointed for this being a Hampton Inn.

The shower completely shut off mid-shower as I was covered in soap head to toe and never came back on. The front desk said "Oh that has been happening sometimes" and offered a tiny discount on the room. They should have comped the night. I was on my way to give a work presentation and had to leave without ever being able to fully get all the soap off.

If you want an hotel close to the Santa Barbara Airport - Do Not Go Here. They do not have an airport shuttle or availability to get taxis at the time required. The elevator was not working, so plan on lugging your baggage upstairs with no staff help. Walls so thin that normal talking in the room next door can be plainly heard. Try sleeping through that!! We got 4 decaf coffee packets and not a single regular coffee, which totally set the mood of the entire place. And the staff could have cared less. On top of being expensive - what else could a guest ask for in a room for a night?? Definitely not a good nights sleep, that is for sure.

I would not recommend this hotel. They tried to cheat me by overcharging me $70. The area was dicey too.
