We stayed here for two nights for our son's orientation at UCSB this month. The location is very convenient for getting to and from UCSB. It's also a very short walk to a variety of small restaurants, a Trader Joe's and a regular giant grocery store (Albertsons?). Upon arrival we each got a small glass of beer from a local brewer which was delicious. Every employee we interacted with during our stay was incredibly friendly and helpful. When we got into our room we discovered the sliding glass door to the bathroom was off the slider so very difficult to move. We called the front desk and a handyman came and fixed the door within ten minutes. Our room phone actually didn't work but we let that be. If you are going to stay here, you definitely want to ask for a pool facing room, preferrably first floor with a small patio. The landscaping around the pool is beautiful so it's almost like The Leta is two different hotels, if you are staying in a room that opens to the indoor courtyard pool area it feels like a cool hip art deco hotel whereas if you are in a room that opens to the parking lot (like we were), it feels like you are in an old motel. The interior of our room was perfectly fine, a minimalist room with two Queen beds but not cramped. No small table or usable desk. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. The shower had wall-mounted soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers like many hotels do these days. Our soap dispenser was empty but the room had a travel size small soap bottle to use instead. Wasn't enough for three of us though. Their espresso machine was broken so they only had regular coffee for the morning free coffee and at the restaurant. The only meal we had at the hotel was breakfast. They have a limited menu. I enjoyed my yogurt and berries. The lobby, restaurant and bar area all have nice decor and match the cuteness of the interior courtyard. One evening we sat out by the fire pit and that was very comfortable. Overall our specific room was a 3 but because of the rest of the hotel vibe and the incredibly friendly and helpful hotel staff I'm giving The Leta a 4.

Had a two night stay here and cannot fault the room or hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating as we arrived early they arranged for our room to be made up for us.
Room serving is by request but again this was fine and met our needs well. The hotel and room were very modern and stylish with comfortable bed and pillows. Had a wonderful nights sleep here. Would highly recommend and location makes it ideal for both going in to Santa Barbara as well as local restaurants nearby

This Tapestry hotel is on a renewal towards very good, with the cool interior lobby, dining room inside/outside, and nice seperation into the inside rooms. Baths are small, but adequate for a couple. The rooms are smaller, but well appointed and the coverings for big window handle privacy. Some of the oldness is seen in the plumbing & big wall unit..but, its part of the charm. Staff was friendy, helpful and made us feel welcome. Easy on/off the 101 freeway.

Weekend getaway for me and my lady. Found this little Gem in Goleta. They have done quite a bit to make this place awesome. Style, great service, great meals (breakfast was top notch). Fire pits everywhere. The pool looked redone and clean. Staff that stood out at front desk was adam (cool curly hair), and Sakina. The bar had Seneca and another gentleman working there that were also top notch. Seneca made our night with such fun conversation and great hospitality and drinks. Sooooo good. Rooms are smaller, but they have done a great job remodeling so you don’t care. One note, the usb phone charger plugs are on each side on night stand. Didn’t catch that til night two lol. So yourself a favor and escape to the Leta. You won’t regret it, Cheers!

Beautiful hotel in excellent location close to Santa Barbara. We had a room facing the parking lot.
The rooms were slightly outdated and underwhelming for the price we payed (rusty taps, biro on the blinds, outdated milk) and it was disappointing that guests have to pay for parking. On the room alone, I would have rated three stars but the hotel facilities made up for it.
Beautiful pool and lobby area. The main restaurant was being used for a wedding party so we ate in the bar. Food was great and Joseph and Ryan behind the bar were great - a real credit to the hotel! We had a fantastic evening in the bar and the drinks were reasonably priced during happy hour too.

I really like this hotel and I have stayed here twice during visits to SB- it has an amazing California vibe, and the boutique style modern decor really makes it so cool. The restaurant is also really good and I have eaten there both times I have stayed here. Rooms are pretty good, the bathroom is a tad cramped and there isn't a ton of space for your stuff, but the I love the in room record player and the record collection you can check out in the lobby. Pool is nice and we have spent time there too during our stay.

Good location not too far from the airport or downtown. Comfortable accommodations for the price. Staff are helpful and engaged. Very dog friendly in lobby and restaurant. We ate here daily for breakfast and it was delicious. Management was responsive with concerns of neighbor’s dog left alone in room and barking for hours.

My recent stay with some friends at the Leta Santa Barbara was a wonderful experience. The hotel is centrally located and close to lot's of attractions. The rooms were well-appointed with comfortable furnishings and the staff was friendly and accommodating, offering helpful local tips. The amenities, including a pool and restaurant, were awesome. My friends and I had a great time lounging!
Overall, it offers a comfortable and charming stay. It provides a reliable and enjoyable experience for visitors to Santa Barbara. :)

We enjoyed our stay here! The staff were fantastic during all of our interactions with them. The room was clean and had a great view overlooking the pool. The breakfast was delicious! We liked the location which allowed us to easily get to Santa Barbara and out to the wineries in Santa Ynez. Where I felt the hotel falls short of a higher rating is that the walls between rooms are very thin, bring your earplugs.

We were upgraded to a poolside room. Very nice touch by the person who checked us in. The property is dog friendly and has an on site restaurant and bar. The bed was very comfortable. The room itself was a good size however the bathroom had two issues. The barn door that is the door for the bathroom did not operate to give you any privacy. The shower is a difficult to use. To turn on the shower you must get in the shower to adjust the temperature. Unusual set up.
