We visited Yosemite the second week in May and we chose Evergreen Lodge for its location, value and price. Peaceful, tranquil, quiet, comfortable.... perfect find! Check in was prompt and informative! We chose one of the smaller cabins which was super clean and super comfortable. One of the best things was no TV and no internet connection! There was satellite...

This is a very nice place with lots of character and was saved from the Rim Fire. It is obviously an overflow internet booking place for people seeking a place to stay in Yosemite. There was a very interesting mix of occupants from all over the world. The rooms (cabins) are nice and rustic. There are no TVs or phones...

The rooms were nice but nothing special. The setting was peaceful and relaxing and not far from Yosemite. The receptionist was helpful as we found we couldn't change the code to the safe in our room. She sent someone over while we were at dinner. We could then program the code but it says to enter #, which we did...

Just celebrated my 70th with wife, daughter, son-in-law and 4 3/4 year old grandson (he's very specific about his age) for four+ days at the Evergreen in a two-bedroom cabin. It was wonderful: the location's a bit remote, but beautiful, and the facilities and staff were terrific. Only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is that there was an...

First please know that if you're going to Yosemite via Hwy 120 You are very limited with accommodations. Having said that, our drive into the resort which takes about 15 mins one way off of the HWY doesn't seem too bad. The room was a small disappointment in that with just a little more effort this could have been outstanding....

My family is in California for summer break and we were trying to book a hotel stay inside the park since I kept on reading that it was the best thing to do not to have to drive 45 minutes into the park. The problem was that all the places to stay inside the park were fully booked (and months...

The lodge is clean and comfortable with friendly helpful staff. What really makes this place is the restaurant - the food is fantastic and way better than you might expect from a lodge in the woods. Highly recommend.

We spent 3 nights at Evergreen Lodge last month, as a part of our honeymoon. The setting is beautiful, and the resort has been built to carefully compliment the natural environment around it. Although we did have a good stay, I couldn't help but think whilst I was there that it does not live up to the price bracket, and...

The lodge is around a 45 minute drive from the center of Yosemite national park which we liked as it took us away from all the crowds. The lodge site itself is very attractive and blends in well within the forest. Our two bedroom cabin was slightly cramped for 4 adults and the fact there was only one bathroom made...

Everything about Evergreen Lodge made visiting Yosemite Park convenient, easy and relaxing. Although not located within the park confines, it couldn't be any closer to the entrance gate. The individual cabins we stayed in were rustic, clean, and equipped with everything (and more) we needed for a 'woods' vacation. The gas fireplace in our room kept us cozy during the...

Hi, I’m Lee, one of the owners of the Evergreen, and I am happy to hear how much you and your friends enjoyed your stay with us.
