This hotel is about an hour and fifteen minutes to the Valley. So the location isn't too bad, but if don't want to pay the big bucks to stay in the Valley it's fine. There is no Wifi here! This is almost unbelievable. I don't think the phone was rotary, but I don't remember perfectly. The heat sort of worked....

Dear Guest: I wanted to take the time to address your concern about WiFi. We understand. We get it. That is our number 1 complaint. However, our hands are tied. We are a hotel and not an Internet Service Provider. Sadly, we are a bit off the grid here. There is no ISP in our area that is willing to...

Stayed two nights whilst visiting Yosemite. Great location for the national park at a reasonable price compared to the other options. The room was really large with two double beds and a lounge area however the house keeping needs to be improved. There were visible signs of drink stains on the table and dresser from a prior occupant and food...

This hotel is not in Grovelands. It is about 12 miles down the road in a very small place called Buck Meadow. The hotel was fine but didn't really match the photos on their website. While you can't argue they show the fixtures and fittings it looks a much brighter smarter place than it is. That being said it is...

Not much around. This place is in the middle of the forest on the way to Yosemite. One restaurant next-door. Clean facilities. Pool and hot tub. Also a playground if you have children. Good for the price. Our beds were not the most comfortable, but we have had worse.

This hotel is about 10 miles outside the entrance to Yosemite and a good hour drive to the lodges and sights in Yosemite Valley. There is one restaurant located next to the lodge that we had a very nice dinner and breakfast at. If you want to be in a town this is not the place for you. I liked...

Cindy: I wanted to thank you for staying with us at The Westgate and for your very detailed review. Your review hits the nail on the head. We are not going to be the best lodging for everyone. We are a bit off the grid. But we are also the closest and most modern hotel to Yosemite on Highway 120...

Great one night stay here. Hiked all day in Yosemite. So nice to come back to a clean hotel. We were very lucky to get a last minute room here over Columbus Day weekend. No wifi as people have said. But we knew this and let all family know. Wifi is great at Yosemite so we took care of all...

We stayed for three nights and the accommodations were just what we needed. It was tough initially not having internet to do some research for our next day of hiking but we had brought a hiking travel book which is how we ended up basing our Yosemite hikes. There was a small restaurant next door with good food,l limited hours....

Great motel when visiting Yosemite and finding all hotels in the park fully booked. A 40 minute drive form the valley center. You'll pass El Capitan on the way in. Typical motel, nothing more, nothing less. Good diner next door: Buck Meadows Restaurant and Bar.
