We must have had the smallest room (Cliff Side) in the place, it was just big enough for a queen bed and walking room around it. You get a bed, chair and a small fireplace. This room backs up to the common room, Whale Watch Lounge and the walls are paper thin. The radio speaker is right up against the...

Amazing location, lovely rooms with fireplaces/decks and a few with full kitchens. Also pet friendly which is a plus in our search for a place to stay. We can not say enough about the staff who made every arrangement to accomodate us. Peaceful, a place where you can forget your worries and soak up solitude and ocean breezes to your...

We pulled in to the drive very late with no reservations and no idea what kind of place we would end up in. Our room was gorgeous with a fireplace and a wonderful view of the ocean. It was after midnight but the hostess brought us in a nice snack of warm cheesy biscuits and some quiche. The next morning...

I fell in love with the vista of the beach. The hotel was sad, it needs to be redone: kind of 1980's pink and green ... we had a suite with a spiral staircase which was supposed to have a jacuzzi but it was a bathtub with jets. We scheduled a massage which is fine he came to our room....

I had very high expectations from reviews I had read and was extremely disappointed. The location was very good for the hotel but from there, it went downhill. The landscaping was beautiful but from walking in the front door you got the feeling time forgot this place. It is bubble gum pink and looks straight out of the early 80's....

The husband and I went here for a well needed weekend away. We stayed in the Sea Bounty room and loved it. We spent hours sitting on the window seat just staring at the ocean, reading, and playing games. In the evening, we just stared into the fire, feeling perfectly relaxed. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was extremely...

Whale Watch Inn isn't cheap, but the place is absolutely worth it if you are looking for a secluded place by the ocean with a great service and homely feel. We have spent two nights here and have loved the service, rooms, fireplace, jacuzzi, food... Definitely come here to relax and recuperate if your daily hectic life in the city...

We stayed in the Golden Voyager unit with full kitchen. Breathtaking views, unit was very clean, bed was very comfy. Peace and tranquility with no phones, radio or TV. Staff was very friendly and accommodated a late check out request. It was delightful to have breakfast delivered and the food was good. The Saturday wine/cheese reception was nice and we...

My wife spent three days in the Bath Suite at this inn. We loved the high ceilings, loft jacuzzi, great view, and amazing breakfast. We were lucky enough to watch a large group of otters playing in the water. We were fascinated by how fast they could jump through the water. The staff is very friendly, and helped out in...

When our daughter decided to get married at our small vacation cabin in Anchor Bay CA we searched reception locations all around the area. We were having a sit down dinner for 60. We ended up renting the whole Whale Watch Inn for the weekend. It was much more cost effective than housing our out-of-town guests all over town, finding...
